I went to Talia?s a couple days ago. I was extremely impressed by the quality of service and attention I got from my server. I did not feel as though I was treated like just some patron at the restaurant. The staff was so accommodating and nice, it really felt like a family restaurant. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be going back soon. more

This place is a favorite for me and my girls. We just love getting together here to enjoy great food. We come almost weekly during the summer to enjoy their outdoor patio and acoustic live music. The service is fantastic and the atmosphere is always light and fresh. Never too busy but always filled with people like ourselves looking for a great night out. The peach sangria pitchers and fresh salads are a summer must! more

I came with a large party for an event. I was able to call ahead and arrange a prix fixe menu that was condusive to my guest's needs. The woman that helped me to set up our party was super nice and very helpful! Once we arrived, our appetizers came out immediately as requested, and our server came over right away with our two bottles of wine that we had pre-ordered. Dinner was delicious and portions were plentiful! Many of us had enough food to take home for the next day! Overall great experience! If you are looking for a Kosher restaurant in Manhattan to host your party, I highly recommend Talia's! more

This restaurant was horrible. Went here with my girlfriend only because of the groupon and will never be back. We ordered two steak dinners which came out on a white plate with nothing on it. We got a cold side of mashed potatoes and plain veggies we had to buy separate. I could have easily made this dinner at home better and for half the price. The service was slow and Sangeria was not great either... Stay away! more

Looking for a Kosher NYC restaurant in the Upper West Side? Talia's your place. I came here looking to treat my soon-to-be husband to his favorite steak. He decided on the prime rib-rare, of course! It came with fresh Mescalin salad and fries. The prime rib was perfect, succulent- no sauce needed. The fries were crispy and the salad served with a light dressing. Paired our dinner with some wine. Happy I could please my husband with such a delicious meal. Attentive staff with such positive energy was definitely a plus. more

Talia's steakhouse on Upper West Side is an excellent restaurant is not to be missed. My girlfriend and I just had a chicken vegetable soup to die for.\r We then had a tender, delicious butchers cut steak and a dish of chicken marsala, with a light very tasty marsala wine sauce. The portions were large.\r Service was attentive and comfortable and ambience was romantic.\r I do not want to forget the absolutely heavenly chocolate dome dessert we shared. more

Celebrated my father's 70th birthday at Talia's last night. Talia's has always been my favorite kosher restaurant on the Upper West Side for their live music nights and great food. Love their Moroccan salmon and I knew my dad would, too. He didn't stop raving about it. We all had a great time and will be back again for our next birthday celebration. more

My wife and I were just going for a walk on the UWS when we strolled into Talia's. We heard some really great live, acoustic guitar music coming from the restaurant and decided to check it out, We sat outside,at the side walk caffe area.ordered appetizers (the thai beef salad was SO yummy) and some wine, and had a relaxing tuesday evening in new york.the truth of the matter is that I didn't know that there are kosher restaurants in manhattan offering cool rock&roll live music while you dine the music, atmosphere, and the food are all reasons to go back again!\r more

Took my son out to Talia's Steakhouse in Manhattan for his birthday last week. Unfortunately it was raining so we couldn't make use of their outdoor cafe, but the inside is definitely nice enough, with roses and candles on the tables. Our waitress was really sweet and great, and the wait for the food wasn't too bad, considering the packed restaurant. We all agreed our food was delicious. Had myself the Buffalo Wings and the chicken burger. It was one of my better NYC kosher restaurants experiences. I'll definitely be back another time. more

Was really craving a burger earlier today, so as I was walking down Amsterdam Avenue, I passed by Talia's and saw a server bringing out two huge burgers to a couple of customers sitting at their sidewalk cafe. They looked really good so I had to take a seat there. My burger came out pretty fast and was just as good as I had hoped. With sweet potato fries, it was a perfect spontaneous lunch. I'll be back again next time I find myself on the Upper West Side for some steak! more

My parents who keep kosher flew in the other day, so I had to find a nice Manhattan kosher restaurant to take them out. A friend recommended Talia’s Steakhouse, so I figured it was worth a shot. I couldn’t have been happier with my decision. We started off with delicious lamb lollipops and glasses of Sangria. Next was some amazing duck for me and prime rib for my parents. They loved their meal and thanked me for taking them out to such a great restaurant. I’ll have to check out Talia’s again sometime to try more of their menu. Highly recommended. more

I've been to Talia's Steakhouse a few times now and I can safely say it's my favorite kosher restaurant in NYC. Not only is the food and service excellent, but they always have great deals going on with Groupon, Jdeal, Livingsocial, etc. and it's so great to have a kosher restaurant in Manhattan with live music. Late Saturday nights are always a good time. My family and I are looking forward to joining Talia's for their Passover Seders coming up soon! more

There aren't enough kosher restaurants open late on Saturday nights. Talia's is open until 4AM every Saturday night and is definitely my favorite place to be with the munchies after a long night of partying with my friends downtown. There's nothing like heading back home to the Upper West Side and finding a kosher place to sit down and have a great burger. And they just started serving some early morning breakfast dishes as well for us late night stragglers. Plus, they've got a full bar if you need that little extra nightcap. more

With so many repeat customers and fans, it's no wonder that Talia's Steakhouse has built such a “Haute” reputation. As one customer puts it: ” You oughtta be the best, most progressive-still-frum place.” Talia's appeal reaches far outside of its Upper West Side location with its two unique dinner and brunch menus offering a gourmet selection of prime rib, filet mignon, duck, whole branzino, homemade hummus, Belgian waffles, shakshouka, non-dairy tofu cheeseburger and more. Talia's is a great spot to take your wife or girlfriend out to dinner. Enjoy the romantic atmosphere, dimly-lit, candles and fresh roses on each table, mellow live music and a wonderful blend of American and Middle-Eastern cuisines.
