I've heard nothing but praise for Take the Cake so I was really disappointed to experience such bad customer service. I had intended on hiring them (and paying premium) to cater my wedding based on the great word of mouth going around. However, on the three separate occasions that I called, I spoke with three different people and all of them were rude. They cut me off, wouldn't answer my questions, and made sure that I knew they were very busy. I truly believe they are that busy because I know they are small and popular but here's a suggestion: hire someone with the time and friendly attitude to assist customers like myself who need a few questions answered. In the end, I never even scheduled a tasting because I got the message loud and clear: Take the Cake has neither the time, nor the inclination, to help anyone they don't feel helping.
