We LOVE Tailwashers! We have been to many different groomers in the L.A. and Los Feliz area and they are by far the most professional, clean, and talented. Sabina does an amazing job and gave our 3 dogs the best haircuts they have ever had. They also send your pets home with thorough Health Report Cards, so you know they truly pay attention to detail. Take your pets to them, you won't be disappointed. more

They've got great selection of toys, food, treats, and other stuff for my dogs and they always have a treat for them at checkout. Best part is that on Tuesdays, a portion of the sales go to animal charity. This place need to learn something about service. I walked in the other day, and there was two workers behind the counter, totally ignored my presence, never bothered to say hello, or do you need anything. Made me feel unwelcome. The other day, I decided my 4 pound Pomeranian would be an absolute show stopper with a Lion cut. Since he was already half way there (I keep his hair short) I thought, ""Hmmm... I own clippers. He is shockingly well behaved. Plus I am curiously dextrous. I can totally do this myself."" But I was a fool! And my poor Leonardo ended up looking like bald Britney. But worse. I have to say Tailwashers exceeded my expectations. I have two persian cats and a labradoodle that I took to the groomer at Tailwashers. Jennifer greeted me and my animals with so much love and made us all feel so comfortable and relaxed right away. She asked me questions about each animal, taking time to get to know each one. When I picked them up, not only did they look more beautiful than they ever had coming out of a grooming shop but they were so calm. I recieved a report card on each animal that went over everything I couldn't believe how detailed it was. Once again Jennifer came out and went over each of my animals one by one to tell me about any problems that she noticed while grooming them. Can we say "" over the top"" this place really knows their stuff and really cares about the animals. I recommend the store but don't recommend Tailwashers the grooming center at all. Ever. Really. That sounds pretty final but heed my words and you will avoid frustration in your life and that's a good thing right?. I have been searching for a groomer for my 2 persian cats and am extremely pleased to have found Tailwashers. It was clean and spacious, and they kept the cats away from the dogs as much as possible. more

I have searched and searched for a great groomer... and this is by far the best one I have ever found. I am not so particular about style, but about the care. My little dog is blind, has a couple extremely sensitive spots/issues and has always been terrified of the groomer. The groomer at Tailwashers is extremely good at understanding and caring for my dogs special needs. He actually leaves the place in a good mood, which means so much because thats never happened anywhere elsehis skin and fur look great too. The environment of the place is unbelievably cool clean, spacious, chill (I was talking to the trainer there, and she seems really great too!) Pros: Excellent staff, caring, friendly Cons: none, they even have parking which is rare. more

This is by far THE BEST haircut and grooming my dog, Cody, has ever received and the amazing staff made it that much better. they were so warm and friendly, not only to me, but more importantly, to Cody as well. i've never felt more comfortable leaving him with a groomer before...and we've been to a few. but this is it...i've found THE best and won't be going anywhere else. not only did they do an amazing job cutting his hair (he's still getting compliments weeks later) but they also sent him home with a goodie bag (a toy and a bone) and a report card which gave me updates on whether or not he had fleas, dry skin, etc. or even if they thought he needed any other medical attention. What a pleasant surprise! never before have i had a groomer be that concerned about my dogs overall well being before. I was super impressed. this place goes way over and above the call of duty and it's actually the same price as going to the ""other"" groomers...another pleasant surprise! And then with the fully stocked pet store, tailwaggers, next door...its now my one-stop shop for all of Codys needs. Cant wait to bring him back! Good job guys and keep up the excellent work!! Well, between the wonderful open enviornment where the doggies get to hang when they're done with their grooming and the groovy, awesome Tailwaggers pet store next door, they got so much love that my guys didn't want to leave!!! Ask for Jennifer, she used to be a vet tech and is so thorough!! She used this amazing brush on them called a ""zoom groom"" which they sell next door for super cheap and it made my hairy guys (huskie/lab mix, and newfie/chow mix) literally not shed again for weeks! They get a report card, a bow, and a stuffed toy for each every time they go in!! By far, the best grooming , vet and mobile vets included, in LA!!! Pros: attention to detail of what dogs needed, great neighborhood, can shop at Mayfair while you wait or eat at BIRDS Cons: not a one! more

My puppy hates when I brush him.. yet he came home happy and looking incredible! He was so matted after a fun beach vacation and yet they got all his mat out and he came home silky smooth. I felt great leaving him here with the friendly staff and loved reading his report card when I picked him up! Will be a repeat customer for sure! My dog was in serious need of some grooming, and Tailwaggers did an AMAZING job. The staff there is so nice, you can tell that they really enjoy their jobs. Even better, it was totally un-pretensious, unllike many other doggie salons in LA, and the price was incredibly reasonable for all they did for my little cocker spaniel, Stella. I'm sorry but you must be mistaking, we have only been open for 3 weeks and I have checked our records and we have not had a dog named Buddy visit us here yet. We always call the day after to make sure you were pleased with your experience at Tailwashers and always look forward to hearing your comments whether their positive or room for improvement. AMAZING!! This place is FAB!! The environment is excellent in customer service as well as asthetics.....such a pleasant and upscale decore for doggy care. The employees greated my dog with open arms and warmth. The groomer deffinantely knows her stuff.....the best grooming my dog has ever recieved... going to the next level, he was awarded a report card that reviewd his general health needs. He's still getting complimented on 4 weeks after. And to top it all off...just next door is TailWaggers which carries beyond all your pet's needs. The employess are informative and warm as well. Buddy came out smelling the same way as he came in after the cologne they sprayed on him were off. I doubt they even groomed him and when I called them to ask what happened they hung up the phone. more

People! I brought Jake - killer dog - to this new grooming place after my buddy recommended. He was not in good shape and honestly, didn't have the best grooming in the past. He looked so SLICK when he was brought out to me. I never knew my dog could look this good. On top of it all, this hot chick hands me a report card that goes over everything from skin to teeth about my buddy. I was blown away. Definitely check it out.
