I was out-of-state and had a transmission go out on me. They rebuilt it and sold me a nation-wide warranty. It went out again 8 months and 6000 miles later. The local shop that is part of the ATRA warranty had to remove the transmission and ship it to TBK, they then had to rebuild it and ship it back. Then after it was installed, I had to wait for TBK to mail a check to my local shop. I went without a car for over a month. If I had lost my trasmission out of town, it would have been cheaper to pay for another complete rebuild.
Pros: They did the job (twice)
Cons: They had to do the job twice.
