Excellent for foreign cars! My Saab would not start. I had it towed to Swedish Werke. To make a long story short, there was wire damage from a mouse that had eaten up the electrical wiring inside the engine compartment. Jeff had kept me apprised of the situation through the whole process and timely fixed the vehicle. I thought having a vehicle like this would cost a fortune for repair but they were very affordable to use. I will use them in the future for repairs and upkeep. more

WONDERFUL 7/15/2010

I have a Mercedes and for years I went to the dealership. I had NO idea what a mistake that was until I went to Swedish Werke. I was greeted on the phone by a very friendly young woman who seemed to have genuine concern for my situation. When I dropped my car off I was nervous leaving it somewhere other than Mercedes. The girl in the office gave me a ride back to my condo and assured me she would give me an update/estimate by the end of the day and she certainly followed through. When I went to pick up the car the NEXT DAY I was honestly surprised at how articulate, knowledgeable and friendly the mechanics there were. One gentlemen stopped what he was doing, washed his hands, and greeted me with a hand shake. He then proceeded to explain what he had to fix and how I could avoid future damage! I live in Florida but I now wait to have all repairs and services done when I am in Banner Elk so I can take my car to swedish wereke. It is well worth it to me now that I have found a mechanic that I can ACTUALLY TRUST! Pros: trustworthy, friendly staff Cons: not a single thing! more

Swedish Werke 4/9/2009

I had just gotten a new Convertable BMW for my birthday. I was going up the mountian for church and all of a sudden my car just stopped so i pulled over. I'm eighteen so I had no idea what to do. I called my family and no one picked up and so I was stuck. After about ten minutes or so a man in a white truck drove up and told me about Jason Roten at Swedish Werke. I called and they came and picked me up and for a great price too! They figured out what was wrong and had it fixed in no time flat! I didnt pay much at all and i got out before church was over! Pros: Once you go here you will never go anywhere else! Cons: NONE! more

Horrible Experience 11/4/2007

On a visit to Banner Elk we had our brakes worked on. My husband purchased the pads himself and just needed someone to put them on. Everyone was backed up that particular day so he stopped by Swedish Werke to see if they could possibly do it. They could but charged $75 to do it. Being that we would be driving through the mountains with our infant daughter..price was not TOO much of a concern. But let me tell you what turned into our concern. APPARENTLY they forgot to put the bolts in (or forgot to tighten them) that hold the calibur on, which HOLD THE BRAKES IN!!!!! A quick 30 minute and $75 service could have cost us our LIVES. I DO NOT recommend anyone using this automotive service. Pros: NONE, except they found enough time to rip us off Cons: everything more
