Great office 9/27/2011

My daughter has been a patient at this clinic for almost 4 years and she loves her doctor. Everyone has always been helpful when I have called in concerned about my daughter's well being or just needing information. The triage nurse is fantastic. She is always quick to call me back and gives useful, friendly advice. Thank you to everyone at this office for making my life less stressful and for taking such good care of my baby. I really appreciate it. Looking at all the previous reviews, I think they have reviewed the wrong clinic. The reviews are supposed to be for the children's clinic and not the adult/family clinic on the 3rd floor. more

Convenient Clinic - Swedish West Seattle 10/15/2009

I am very sorry that the experiences the previous reviewers had were bad, and hope they have been able to find better care and facilities than what they felt they had.\r \r In writing reviews, opinions do vary. However, in expressing a negative experience, care needs to be taken that slander (libel) is not attached to such comments. Expressing negative experiences by using the facts associated with the experience is not slander. Saying a Dr.'s ""cocktail hour"" is more important to him than a child's pain is speculative at best, in that does he actually have a ""cocktail hour"", or even drinks for that matter, let alone puts that above a childs pain. Suggesting such could be libel.\r \r That said, I will give my own review of Swedish West Seattle. I have not had the unfortunate problems of unreturned phone calls. Dr. Guerra is my husband's PCP. He has had very positive experiences with his medical care with Dr. Guerra. He suggested I see Dr. Guerra, as my PCP had retired. I have had exceptional services from him, his assistant, the staff and an on call doctor over a weekend. (After the on-call Dr. had called me back, he also called later in the day to see how I was doing and called me the following day as well.) Just today, and the reason I am writing a review, is because I got a call back from Dr. Guerra's assistant within 5 minutes after leaving a message. I wanted to write a review because I am so pleased I have a Dr. and staff I can depend on. I called yesterday, a little after 5:00 p.m., so I wasn't sure anyone would be there. The scheduling person was there and said she would have Dr. Guerra's assistant call me back. Ten minutes later I got a call from Dr. Guerra himself. This is not the only time I have received a call back from Dr. Guerra ""after hours""; I have had numerous returned calls from him ""after hours"". I am sure that he has other patients he is scheduled to see during the day, so I don't expect an instant call back, whenever I call. However, I have always received a call back, a couple times after 6:00 p.m. (What time is ""cocktail hour""?)\r \r West Seattle Swedish's elavator is slow and the building isn't the best. It might have been when it was new. I really appreciate the local clinic regardless. I do not drive freeways, if the clinic wasn't in West Seattle I would have to take the bus to get medical care.\r \r Sometimes I have to hold for awhile when I call to schedule an appointment. I am not the only person that is ill, it is no surprise that I might have to wait.\r \r Thank you to the staff, Dr. Guerra and his assistant, and to the on-call doctor at Swedish West Seattle Clinic.\r \r \r Pros: Good Physicians without having to go to 1st Hill Cons: Not as fancy as other Swedish Facilities more

A couple great doctors spoiled by bad staff 3/10/2009

The office staff are rude on the phone (although oddly nice when you are there in person). The office has extremely restrictive scheduling policies (can only see my ""primary"" doctor for a physical even though I can't ever get in to see her for anything else so the woman doesn't know me from Adam and is booked up 8 months out. When you call close to the end of the day the staff leave you on hold for 10 or 15 minutes and then disconnect your call when it's quitting time. This happened to me when I called on new year's eve with a urinary tract infection. I then called the on-call doctor who wouldn't authorize a refill on my prescription because I hadn't called during office hours and they ""don't do refills during on-call time."" OMG! Three times I've called after hours with a sick baby or toddler and had my call not returned by Dr. Juan Guerra who apparently doesn't find my children's pain important enough to interrupt his cocktail hour. Enough. Dr. Sierra Guerra and Dr. Dague are great doctors but there are too many other choices out there to put up with thoughtless office staff and bad doctors that seem to forget the fact that they are hired by me, on my dime, to provide a service. Pros: Dr. Sierra Guerra & Dr. Dague Cons: Everybody else more

An unbelievably messy, unorganized ugly place to be 3/5/2008

This place not only screwed my appointment up today and they couldn't take me. I checked on one that I had scheduled 2 months later and the time was wrong on that as well. They blamed me for putting it in my appointment book wrong. I could see myself screwing up one of them for example my 1:15 for a 11:15. But not a 9:45 as a 9:00. I'm glad I checked on the second one because I would of been screwed twice. God forbid they make a mistake. Of course they can't, they are perfect. \r \r I've been having a hell of a time trying to get my prescription name brand and not generic, and for 90 days and not 30. Every time I go to the pharmacy it's the same old thing. But your doctor says generic is ok. Well it's not for me. ( at least in this case, I've tried them both) And your doctor only gives 30 at a time. It eventually gets fixed, but it happens every time. Dr. Trigillus doesn't really listen to much to me. It just seems she views me as a piece of poopoo.\r \r Also the place is terribly dirty. The elevator takes 7 minutes to get to the 3rd floor. Half of the lights don't work, many ceiling tiles are out and the rest are dirty and stained. This place even looks run down from the outside. It looks as though it's not even a business and is going to be torn down in a few days. \r \r In conclusion, it's a terribly dirty, run down mess of a place with crummy doctors! Pros: last place I would go Cons: More than I can mention more
