Finding the right therapist is imperative to treatment and I believe that the therapeutic process is a collaborative one. With that, I strive to create strong connections with my clients in a safe, open and judgment free environment.
I have been working in the counseling field since 2005 after earning my Bachelors Degree from the University of Hartford in Human Services with a minor in Psychology and earning my Masters Degree from Saint Joseph College in Community Counseling. I have worked with children, adults and families in a multitude of settings that include community based programs, residential treatment centers and outpatient clinics. I have an extensive background working with at risk children, adolescents, adults and families with a range of mental health disorders. I believe that my clients are truly the experts of themselves. With that, I strive to create an open and collaborative environment as a means to empower my clients to develop a greater sense of self and wellbeing.
