Sushi D is located on Dekalb Ave in Brooklyn, not difficult to access, and worth a walk. The staff is friendly, but content to leave you to yourself.
The Spicy Seafood soup for 2 is great and while it's not chock full of seafood, it has a tasty assortment for a first course. Mussels, crab, shrimp and seaweed with a nice heat to it in a miso broth.
The Chicken Shogayaki is a house special, also very good. And if you're there for sushi, you can't go wrong with the classic Maki Combo- Tuna Roll, California Roll and Spicy Salmon. With drinks, we got out of there for less than 30$. They accept credit card, too.
