He just opened about a year ago, but a lot has changed since then! When he opened last year I took my family.....what an experience! My grand-daughter--a toddler-- was out of place (no high chairs); the menu was VERY limited (his official opening was for the following night); and, although we were a family of 6 (including my grand-daughter), we filled the restaurant! The only other seating available was at the bar.
Considering Jo is an American, his sushi is really good. (He studied sushi in Japan before opening this restaurant.) I can't comment on much else since I haven't eaten at his restaurant since his opening last year, but I have my own business around the corner and have the chance to speak with him from time to time. From what I hear, business has never been better.
