The motel was close to several restaurants, gas stations and businesses and only 5 minutes from Drake Stadium. There was a refrigerator with a separate freezer, a microwave, and a coffee maker in the room. The air conditioning worked well, even though it was 95 degrees and very humid outside. There was a wide selection of cable tv channels. The ice machine worked well. The swimming pool was clean and the water was heated. The continental breakfast was adequate and free. It consisted of cold cereal, milk, donuts and rolls, juice, toast, English muffins, oranges, and waffles. The parking was very close to the door we entered and our room was close to the door. For the price I paid ($69), it was one of the best deals I have ever gotten on a hotel/motel room in a major city.
