No Thank You 6/27/2013

If you take your pet to Sunset Hill Veterinary and Rehabilitation Center be prepared to have deep pockets. The doctors seem to be motivated by $$ rather than the quality of the pet's life. I have to say in spite of the doctors, the staff are amazingly kind and compassionate - Erica and Ashley in particular are true assets to the clinic. We have been patrons of Sunset Hill for approximately 2 years now - initially chose this clinic because of positive reviews, location and extended hours. We have recently moved our patronage to a new vet clinic that is not as conveniently located to our home, but the level of care will be better suited to our needs. We will not be returning to Sunset Hill. And no, I would not recommend this vet to a friend. more

Sunset Hill is the most amazing Vet center ever!! 5/25/2011

I don't have a lot of money and I hate going to places that make me feel stupid. I did not feel that way or have ever been overcharged at Sunset Hill. This place works with you on all the possible options, costs (itemized receipts), methods of treatment and have called me multiple times a day to keep me well informed. Even when I call them, they make the time to answer each of my questions with care and concern. My cat has never been so calm in an office, and so relaxed after picking him up after he's been there for x-rays (without anesthetizing him). They are the best experience I've ever had and I am telling everyone! If there is any doubt about where you take your beloved feline or doggie, please visit Sunset Hill Veterinary. more

No return phone call 11/3/2010

My dog had been to Sunset Hill Vet after a car accident. When we were arranging a plan of care it took the vet a few days to return my call. Then I made a call for follow up care spoke to the receptionist/technican and she stated she would have Dr Lamb call me back. NO ONE called me back! Very dissapointed! We paid a lot of money to have our dog seen there as it is a speciality rehab facility. more

Best vet for dogs - hands down! 6/9/2006

We started out with Dr. Lamb by chance at Lien Animal Clinic in West Seattle. The clinic has a great staff but we came to realize that Dr. Lamb just had a way with our dogs (and with us!). We were ecstatic when we she opened her own clinic right in Ballard. There are now 2 vets at the clinic, but I would still recommend asking for Dr. Lamb. She's friendly, personable and explains things in an honest and clear manner (rather than trying to sell services). Most importantly, she has such a way with animals. We have 2 dogs who can be frightened and grumpy with other vets. When Dr. Lamb comes in the room, they both turn into pussycats! Without complaint they'll endure exams, shots, you name it. I would and have recommended her to friends! more

Top Notch Vet 10/20/2005

This place just opened about 3 months ago. I was lucky enough to run across it and the Vet, Dr. Lamb, at the Ballard Seafood Festival. I can honestly say I have never left a Vet's office with the overwhelming good feelings I had when leaving here. This place is top notch. The exam rooms have a big rug; you, the vet or technician and your pet sit on the floor. I love it! All the people here, especially the vet and owner Alycia Lamb, are fabulous. They are so nice, informative and patient (with my many questions). In addition, Dr. Lamb is doing some cool things with pets; they have, acupuncture and so much more. I would highly recommend them. I, honestly, couldn't be happier with finding such a great vet. I feel lucky! more
