Unethical Financial Dept! 4/20/2009

We went to shop for a used vehicle. After some negotiating, we were given a great deal. Low interest rate and low payment. We take the car and everything is fine. Two weeks later we get a call saying we need to go to a Credit Union here and open an account. To do so, we have to claim we belong to a particular church in the area. Will Byrd (financial guy who got us to sign our contract) TOLD us (rather rudely) that we either go and lie to this Credit Union or bring the vehicle back. We went down to that credit union and told the rep there what was going on, because we do not want to anything dishonest. The rep said that they heard this a couple time from this particular Dealership and said they were going to stop financing for them. When we went back to the dealership and told Will Byrd that the credit union will not only open us an account (though they were appreciative of our honesty) but will also stop financing them, Will Byrd instructs us to go to another one and lie anyway. We declined and gave the vehicle back. It should be noted that NONE of this was told to us by Will Byrd when we were signing the contract. There was NO mention of this on the contract. Had he told us about all of this to start with we never would have signed in the first place. Needless to say, Do not do business with these dishonest, unethical people! All they care about is making a buck and have no common decency. more

Very nice salespeople, not so great financing department. When we went there to look for a new car, we ended up talking to the owner himself, who put us in what looked like a great deal. Unfortunately their financing department decided 30 days after we were given the car that we had gotten too good of a deal. After weeks of phone tag, we finally got fed up with them going from "The car is yours." to "Bring it in as soon as possible." and simply returned it. As you may be able to guess, this caused us quiet a bit of inconvenience. more
