Sugar Bakers has HORRIBLE customer service! I ordered two cakes off the retail menu for my mother's 65TH surprise birthday party, as I was told I should order ahead to make sure they have the ones I want in the store. I ordered to pick the cakes up 9am on Sunday. Apparently there was a misunderstanding as they are not open on Sunday ( I had no clue) and the woman taking the order thought I said Sat. I received a voice mail on Saturday at 5:30p from Sugar Bakers ( they called me at 3:30p) to say they close at 4p and if I can't get there in time to get the two cakes, I could pick them up on Monday. I was completely distraught and had to scramble Saturday night to try and get two cakes for my mom's party. After two calls ( Monday and Tuesday) with no return call from the manager, I finally got one on the phone (Wednesday) who informed that they will not return my money nor give a store credit, and since no one returned my calls, my cakes were now gone as well! Apparently their misunderstanding was my fault......and I had to pay for it! I will tell everyone I know NOT to go to Sugar Bakers!
