I love this place 2/2/2011

I have had nothing but exceptional care and service at Stringtown Animal Hospital!! I find everyone there helpful and caring. I have 4 cats. All of them have a disease. I am always a priority not matter how busy they are. I know that I am not the only person treated this way. I read some other reviews and I find it sad that they feel the doctors try to push things on you. You don't have to buy everything they suggest. Be smart. Yes, there are things that you can buy cheaper somewhere else. However, there are so many things that you cannot buy at a local pet store. I love this animal hospital. They take great care of my animals. They have always been very helpful and compassionate with all of my cats problems. more

Committed to pets 1/19/2011

I've taken my dog to this practice since he was a puppy. Always excellent care from the staff. Exceptionally clean, friendly staff, thorough and efficient. Some of these reviews cite price - this is certainly not the only attribute one should look at when considering a vet. I really iike their professionalism and you can tell the staff is very committed to caring for pets. more

Great care again from Dr. Scott and staff 5/21/2008

My sweet dog was in much discomfort with an ear hematoma and Dr. Scott and her staff once again took much time and care with her to get it to heal as soon as possible. They gave me detailed instructions on what to do so that surgery could be avoided. Her ear healed without surgery and is as good as new!! I am so pleased with the expertise and care we get at Stringtown Animal Hospital! more

Wouldn't go anywhere else!! 4/25/2008

I have been going to Stringtown Animal Hospital for years. They have always been courteous, professional, and are the most compassionate group of people I know when it comes to my animals. Of course my animals get the best care, even if it does cost more. Dr. Scott and Dr. Carter have always taken the time I I need for questions and concerns. Dr. Scott has a wonderful Practice and Staff. more

Albert R thinks Stringtown Animal Hospital is great! 12/23/2007

Once again, I had a superb experience at Stringtown Animal Hospital when I took my two dogs in for their yearly physical. The receptionists were friendly as I waited briefly in a big, bright, and clean waiting room. Dr. Scott and the veterinary assistant, Michele, each spent a lot of time with me as they thoroughly examined my dogs and gave them the necessary care. I was provided with not only immediate care for my dogs, but also given information to help keep them healthy all year long. I can't imagine taking my dogs anywhere else. They get excellent care at a reasonable price. more

Both my dogs have received exceptional service from Stringtown Animal Hospital. Not only are they affordable, but they are always friendly and really care about my dogs. I would not take my babies to any other hospital. If you want great care for your pets, go to Stringtown Animal Hospital. more

NOT RECOMMENDED!!! 11/21/2007

My dog had a dental cleaning here at Stringtown Animal Hospital, and now he has chronic problems and gets sick w/ vomiting and diarrhea. I think they gave him to much anesthesia, possibly?? Not only does my dog continue to have problems, and I thought I was going to loose him...it is waaaay expensive! The staff didn't impress me either on professionalism, and just plain being friendly!!! I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND! Save yourself! more

Expensive 8/27/2007

After moving to this area we tried this clinic on several occasions. We were not impressed. The waiting area is extremely small which can be a problem when 5 dogs are waiting! While the vets seem to be nice and gentle they seem to push extra things on you all of which are highly overpriced. When purchasing a prescription from this vet it was 3xs higher than the same pills at my old vet. It appears that they DO mark up all vaccines, procedures, tests and visits. The cost is NOT worth it. more

Rip Off 5/31/2007

This is the second time and the last time I take my pets to this place. The first time I was having my Bassett Hound fixed. I got an estimate for 650.00, after telling them I had just the year before had my other dog fixed at Beavercreek animal Hospital for 250.000 they lowered the bill to half. Today I took 2 healthy dogs in for their shots.\r I got sentinal for both and frontline for both, one had her nails clipped and one needed some ear drops. The total was $824.44. Never again ! They mark up the meds by at least 50% and the shots are twice as much as my old vet. If you've ever been to Beavercreek Animal Hospital it is a brand new beautiful building, Stringtown Animal Hospital is a converted house. So, it's not the overhead..it's greed. more
