I had Stinn's jewelry department make a mother's ring for me to give to my mother. I wanted a fairly specific style as my mom is not a woman that wears much dangly, jangly type jewelry. I wanted a pretty substantial band with 3 stones set I. I think it is called a channel setting. Two of the gems were in the range that I could afford for them to be a nice size, but one was a diamond. I thought it was hopeless & was afraid I would either have to settle for less, like some of the chip sized stones you see in department store mom rings. The person who worked with me was wonderful! He explained about all the different diamonds that were available, from the type that are used in equipment such as tools or electronic components, all the way to the purest of pure, a flawless specifically colored stone. He worked with me tirelessly, bringing out stone after stone till we found just the right one. The ring I ended up with was even more beautiful than I had dreamed of and I stayed exactly at the price I had decided on, all for the most deserving woman on this planet! The best part is that she wears it every single day. It was exactly what I wanted for her; fancy enough to be dressy, yet it fit into her active lifestyle. Thank you to the entire Stinn group.
This ring was purchased over 13 years ago and I thoroughly thanked them back then. I was clicking around the Internet & landed on Stinn, just browsing, and I saw the pitiful state of the reviews for them. I have never even heard 1 negative thing about this Central Coast gem of ours & this is what the reviews are? We are all guilty of one of my biggest pet peeves: everyone (myself included) makes the time to complain when the service provided shows that it comes from us humans, & that we are capable of many errors, because we are only human. When it comes to service being exactly what it is supposed to be or even better, it is just shoved aside, maybe a quick thanks. We should give more time to praise, less to complaints. There are many who earn it!
