Stewart Animal Clinic

I have friends who have used Dr. Stewart for years because he went above and beyond the call of duty to take care of a life-or-death emergency once. It was my friends' recommendation that led me to see Dr. Stewart, and I was happy with his clinic until recently.\r \r According to the numbers Dr. Stewart has been quoting me once a year for the last three years, my cat has Chronic Renal Failure. But I had to do research on the internet to find that out because Dr. Stewart never gave me the diagnosis. He just told me certain numbers were high. He never told me that all the symptoms my cat displayed, which were the reasons I took him to the vet in the first place, were symptoms of Chronic Renal Failure. When I finally figured out something was wrong and started trying to find out what it was myself, I asked Dr. Stewart's office if there was anything that could be done to slow the progression of the disease. Dr. Stewart and the staff at Stewart Animal Clinic are so compassionate and took extra good care of my "Arwen". She ate some orbit chewing gum that is toxic to cats and I was quickly rushed into a exam room where Arwen was seen by the doctor, they hooked her up to fluids and she was better the next day. Reasonable prices although you can not put a price on my Arwen. more

I have been using Dr. Stewart for the last 12 years. He and his staff are professional and caring. Their prices for services or products have never been out of line. A wonderful veterinarian and clinic. more

I have been taking all my dogs to Dr. Stewart for the past 3 years I have lived in Alabama. Never thought there was a problem until recently. It seems as though this place is not interested in anything but money. And not to mention they are rude, and seem to be not very caring with the anminals you leave to board. I called to get a credit on my account because 2 of my dogs got a shot they already had, and the lady said that she couldn't do that, and that I had to talk to Dr. Stewart about that and she hung up on me. more

Dr. Stewart is a wonderful veternarian with lots of experience and really cares about your animals as well as customer satisfaction. He is the best veternarian that I have ever taken my animals to. more

DVM Blaylock at this vet saved my 1 lb Chihuahua's life. She was diagnosed with Parvo, usually a death sentence. The animal responded well to their care, (one of the techs took the dog home for 5 nights to administer meds and IV feedings). Today, Ginger is almost 4 lbs and extreemly healthy. These folks care about the animals they treat. I do not find them expensive or out of line price wise. I do find them professional and equipped for anything your pet needs. Visit there without concern. more

Compassionate...to the point of getting hugs for my grief over my bassette's (Molly) condition ! Considerate! Professional! Very Knowledgable! Followed up days later! (how often do you get that these days!) And absolutely pleasant. Quoted a price on hospitalization and services which was within $7 to actual ! That is an absolute testimony of their beginning to end knowledge. They do what they do extremely well ... AND with most excellent service and personality. more
