Let me first say this- I am a business owner who comes from a family of businessmen. We know how customers should be treated. I was blown away by the owner's abhorrent behavior, and I highly advise anyone considering this jewelry store to go elsewhere. My girlfriend and I stopped by to get sized for a ring and to see what he had. What should have been an enjoyable experience was ruined when he refused the instant we asked (there were no other customers in the store, by the way). When I asked why, he said, "Because people come in here, get sized, and I never see them again. I only deal with people who buy." Mind you, he's never seen us before, he made no attempt to show us his jewelery, he never asked us a single question or made any attempt to engage us. He didn't get up out of his chair and didn't do a single thing that a businessman should do with a potential customer. He simply refused to serve us. We left absolutely bewildered, wondering what the heck just happened. Amazed at this level of rudeness, I decided to return later on my own to ask him what it was that made him think that we would not purchase there, or why he didn't at least offer to charge us to get sized. To say that he continued to be rude would be an understatement. Unfortunately for him, I recorded the conversation. I've got Lance Stein, owner of Stein Family Jewelers, being insultingly rude and calling a potential customer an a**h*le for asking why, in case he has a problem with this review. He's quite the charmer. Some truly impressive stuff there. Needless to say, I would NOT recommend Stein Family Jewelers.
