VERY UN-TOGETHER AS A COMPANY! 7/29/2011

WHEN THEY FINALLY CAME OUT, THE GUYS WERE NICE, BUT THEY COULDN'T HOOK UP THE HOSE THAT WAS NEEDED, THEY FAILED TO IN FORM US THAT FOR A CONDO THEY NEEDED A PRESSURE MACHINE WITH THEM WHICH THEY DIDN'T HAVE. THE PERSON WHO TOOK THE INFO FAILED MISERABLY TO INFORM THE DRIVERS OF THIS. WHEN AN ADDRESS IS TAKEN AND YOU SAY 'CONDO' AND THEY DON'T PASS ON THIS INFO IT IS A WASTE OF TIME FOR ALL! I HAD A FRIEND WHO WANTED TO KNOW HOW IT WENT BECAUSE THEY NEED THIS DONE TOO, BUT NOT BY THIS COMPANY. WILL FIND SOMEONE ELSE. more

Horrible customer service!!! 6/13/2011

Was treated very rudely on the phone several times by the technician that was scheduled to clean my carpet. Not sure how well their cleaning service is. Technician could not find my house so he told me I would have to reschudle another appointment. more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! 11/12/2010

I was scheduled to have my carpet cleaned today and the time that was given to me was from 12 to 4pm. I called prior to noon to ensure my appointment was still on the books and they confirmed. I waited all day with no word from Steam Express. When 4pm came and went, I called to get an update. They said that the technician was running behind and would call me back in a few minutes with an estimated time of arrival. I waited for 30 minutes and still no call back. I called back the office said that they were on their way and would be there shortly. An hour goes by and the technician finally arrives.....1 hour and 45 minutes after the 4 hour scheduled window. When they arrive they offer me an insulting 10% off...I called the office and they increased the discount to 15% off...so instead of paying $65+tax would now pay $60 (including tax). I told them no thank. I waited ALL day and not once did they take the initiative to call me to give me a status update. Steam Express has TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! more

Worst Company Ever 9/8/2010

DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT USE STEAM EXPRESS TO CLEAN YOUR CARPETS. They stood us up twice and then tried to screw us over by promising a free carpet cleaning and then tried to charge us for it when they showed up. All in all, my wife and I took off portions of 2 days of work, stayed home for Labor Day and still don?t have our carpets or vents cleaned. They are a joke of a company and as others said, they acted like I was crazy for expecting decent customer service. For a carpet cleaning company all I can say is they literally SUCK!! more

Worst Carpet Cleaning EVER Zero stars 6/10/2010

This was by far the worst carpet cleaning I have ever experienced. They have 2 levels of cleaning--deep and rinse. I opted for the deep and it looks like nothing was even done. I can't even begin to imagine what ""rinse"" would be like. They don't move anything. They don't clean UNDER anything--even tables. I pointed out some spots (which all other cleaners ""pre-treat""), and they did nothing differently. The spots are still there. The traffic areas are just as dingy as before. I always loved the fresh smell after having my carpets cleaned, but that was missing too. BTW They advertise deodorizing included. After they left, my bare feet found a number of dry spots that hadn't even been touched. This was a total waste of time and money as I now have to have another company come in to clean my carpets properly. Cons: Quality, price. more

Made me mad........... 2/20/2010

They used the return vents to add $70 to my bill. My valpak coupon said it was for whole house vent cleaning-up to 10 vents. I have 7 outgoing vents and 2 return vents. Nothing on that coupon said return vents were extra. They waited till they had their equipment in my house to spring that on me. I called the company after I had cooled down to let them know about my concerns. The rep acted as if I was ridculous to be unhappy. He said he would have a manager call me back. No manager ever called me back. If they call me back, I'll edit this comment. I give this company two thumbs down. more
