I remember when that corner on Wydown and Hanley used to be a Glaser's drugstore. Once I saw a woman go in there and try to buy a bottle of scotch on Sunday. The merchant wouldn't allow it. The blue laws said you couldn't. She stormed out of there, tore off in a Corvette. I had never seen an adult, other than my parents, angry, and never in public. I know how Glaser's ended up. I wonder how that woman ended up? I ended up working for a coffeeshop for a while and now a pharmaceutical company. Go figure.
