I have used Stanley Steamer for many many years. As you would think i would be a valued customer. The last few times I have used their services they have done maybe a fair job. It would be my fault for not telling them everytime how dissatisfied I was, but I had told them of this several times. I called them after going to their website on water damage situation. I had a small back up in the my basement and seen they had a service for this. I thought ok lets check them out. I called got a hold of customer service represtive and explained that i was looking to get information to have cleaned and if needed treated. They were not very helpful, infact in the conversation with this lady and going back and forth and finally getting an explaination why they couldnt help, which I could understand, still puzzeled on why they advertise for it, she in her rudeness gave me a number to company 800 877-5160 Carpet Repair USA the number given was to a toy row boat company. I tried calling back Stanley Steamer to get a correct number when the line would be connected their customer service the line would hang up not even a hello. I tried this several times even using a different zip. We are know how cutomer service gets such a turnover, lack of someone taking theirjob seriously. Stanley Steameris company that prides themselfs on the good service should take a serious look into what that means. I would have to say that they dont deserve to have any good ratings. I have experience many times there poor customer services and the too many times the quality of the job being done so poorly. I have addressed this them and obviously it has dropped on close ears. I was wrong to give them so many chances. I would not EVER recommend this company or use this company again. I have spent anywhere around $2000 a year with them. Having my carpets cleaned maybe 3x a year cleaned between 12 to15 areas plus oriental rugs. They have lost my business. NO MORE CHANCES!
