Tried calling about six times to find out if they were open. Line was busy for two hours . Finally I drove by. Sign says they are open till six on Saturdays. It was five thirty. The doors were locked. I peeked thru the window. An employee ( a young girl) was on the phone no wonder it was busy! She stuck her head out and said CLOSED. What a way to run a business. more

When I moved here from Helena, MT (The home of the first Staggering Ox), I was super stoked to see that there was an Ox in Spokane as well. The "clubfoot" sandwiches are not only unique, but delicious. The fillings are always fresh, as is the beer cozy-like bread they're tucked into. The sauces are tasty and different, and they offer great hot sandwiches, soups, and sides as well. Their new location is even better than the old one, with a lot more room (Not to mention seating). Highly recommended! more

I agree, these are some of the BEST sub sandwiches in the whole workd, I'm almost sure of it. Nowhere else do they taste like this. You get a large sandwich and their prices are great! Made with lots of fresh and tasty ingredients each and every time - fresh and made to order! You get exactly what you ask for, nothing more and nothing less. Fast and friendly service! Inviting atmosphere! more

The Greatest Subs in Spokane 10/3/2005

If you want a great sandwich without spending a lot of money, this is the place to go. The unique style of these subs in a can like bread, makes it all the better. more
