Put simply, this stable is managed by incompetent people. I brought my horse to Stagecoach a while back, and only heard the rumors after boarding there. The management changes hands constantly, but the current managers (called ""Tilbury Management"") are straight up dangerous. Horses are always getting out because they won't fix their electric fence. Their indoor arena is in terrible shape- fiberglass insulation is exposed on the walls, and the first thing my horse tried to do was take a big bite out of it. There are cobwebs everywhere, which is a fire hazard. They turn all horses out on pasture that's 50-75% alfalfa, without easing them in to it. My horse colics continuously because of this, and he never colicked before living there. The managers themselves jokingly insult your horse and make you feel small constantly. I saw one girl leaving this stable, and while she was trying to load a skittish filly in to a trailer, they deliberately took turns going by and yelling out beside her and her horse, which made the filly scared, and leap out of the trailer. Then they went inside and talked trash about her, and laughed about it. Apparently she was leaving because her horse had just colicked, and although the vet said the horse had to go out in a paddock to keep moving, they refused to put her in a paddock because she'd gone through the electric fence before (and they still hadn't gotten that electric fence fixed, and she'd broke out a month ago). So they left it in its stall, where it may have colicked again. Then they charged her for the month, and blocked the road with their trucks until she paid it. I heard she was going to take legal action to get her money back, and I can't say I blame her. This place is awful, and I'm sure glad I'm out by the end of the month.
