My son had to be airlifted to the Children's Hospital NICU hours after birth. They were wonderful for two first-time parents freaking out about their baby. They let my husband hold him right away, and stay with him since I couldn't be there as I was still in the hospital I delivered where I delivered the baby (also a great hospital and staff). The nurses in particular were great, with one exception. The first nurse I met seemed to discourage me from breastfeeding, which I thought was ridiculous. The rest were great though. And the doctors were good as well; ours lectured my husband on making sure I was taking care of myself as well, and pointed us to various amenities we wouldn't have known about ourselves. It's one of the top 10 children's hospitals in the country for a reason, and I highly recommend it.
