The building is mostly good - elevators are slow and tempermental, but common areas are generally well kept, and some of the views from units and the roof are very nice. It's occasionally difficult to get management on board to correct any problems you have. Once we called the office because of problems with our phone line (faulty wiring in the apartment). The apartment blew it off for almost a week until we finally had to fix it ourselves. In another instance, the hot water was out completely for hours (when I was trying to get out the door for a job interview) - management didn't consider it a problem and was blase about fixing it. On the other hand, the building manager is mostly friendly and helpful, and they were understanding and easy to work with when we needed to make arrangements to pay a bit late once. All in all, like anywhere else in town, it's got it's pros and cons, but we've been here for close to two years now and for the most part we've been pleased.
Pros: location, views
Cons: occasional maintenance or management issues
