A vision of mission of St. Chrysostom?s at the heart of the city of Chicago in the Great Commission Jesus said: ?Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, And remember I am with you always,? (Matthew 28:19-20) Our mission is to tell everyone the good news of God?s love in Jesus Christ, and to invite them to hear God?s call to follow Jesus as a disciple.
Our mission is always centered in the worship of the church, according to The Book of Common Prayer, with a commitment to excellence in word and music. Our mission also includes: education for children, for youth, for adults, and St. Chrysostom?s Day School; welcoming the newcomer; building a welcoming and inclusive community life and hospitality; reaching beyond ourselves in outreach and wider mission; faithful pastoral care; and being faithful stewards of our resources of money and property and people.
We're located at 1424 North Dearborn Parkway, which is on the west side of the street between Burton Street and Schiller Street.
