Has our culture become spoiled recently, with the advent of stadium seating, convenient cupholders, mega-screens & DHX sound? Maybe so, but call me spoiled.
The St. Anthony Main theater has a lot going for it - a fun location, great restaurants on the same street, and a prime spot in a burgeoning neighborhood.
So why don't they clean up their act? The theater floors are sticky. The screens aren't just tiny, they're insect sized. The sound is poor. I have never been to this theater once when the sound didn't go out during a movie, or some other mishap occured. The seats are tiny, cramped and low. It's just not comfortable.
If you're going to ask $7 or $8 a ticket, at least make it worth the patron's time to offer comfortable or even decent surroundings.
