Took my daughter out after asking the teachers and the director 3 times to fix the United States map in the pre-K classroom. A handful of the capitals were WRONG! Chicago is not the capital of Illinois and Miami is not the capital of Florida! The ""fix"" was to white out the wrong city name and write over it with the correct city. However, Tallahassee is not in southern Florida. States and capitals are taught in 5th grade. Apparently the pre-K teachers are not smarter than a 5th grader. I gave it 2 stars because my daughter loved her toddler class teachers. However, Springstone consolidate kids towards the end of the day, so she would end up in the pre-K class when I picked her up. The pre-K teacher also never acknowledged me when I walked into the classroom, even before I complained about the map. The teacher mainly sat in a chair, rarely engaging with kids other than to tell them to stop doing something bad. Knowing that my daughter would eventually end up in her class, I had to move my daughter to another school. She left Springstone in Feb 2011. For the sake of the other kids, I hope that pre-k teacher no longer works there.
