Will cheat you if they can 11/5/2008

After test-driving a vehicle that was acceptable, my wife and I returned a few days later with our payment and purchased our vehicle. After about a month of the car randomly dying, we had it towed to a recommended mechanic, who checked the entire electrical system (due to other electrical problems), and ended up rewiring most of it. He also told me that the steering rrack needed to be replaced, as the car was unsafe to drive. I paid for the steering rrack and electrical system repairs, but decided we'd had enough of this awful vehicle, so we took it to a dealership and began shopping for a newer car.\r \r When they checked our car, they found that the frame was damaged, indicating the vehicle was in an accident, though the Carfax report for this car indicated no accidents at all. When we confronted Spring Cypress Auto, they became angry and belligerent, and told us it was our problem for buying an ""as-is"" car, despite me telling them repeatedly that they are required to report accidents on a vehicle. However, during all of this, I found that the VIN listed on the bill of sale did not match the vehicle. Spring Cypress Auto ""accelerated"" our loan and repossessed the car, despite only being one day past due date.\r \r When I went to claim my personal property from the vehicle, they told me that a speaker box resting in the trunk was attached to the car, and therefore part of their repossessed property. I called the police on the spot, since they, along with the tow truck drivers across the street, physically took the speakers from me and attempted to intimidate me physically. The police told me it was a civil matter and that they wouldn't do anything. I tracked the car afterward, and they sold the car off immediately as salvage to a dealer in another city.\r \r I have wished numerous times since then that I did more on this matter. If I can help somebody else avoid being preyed upon by these shady dealers, then something good came of it. Pros: They will finance high-risk applicants. Cons: They sell salvage vehicles as normal vehicles. more

BUYER BEWARE!!!! 10/12/2008

SPRING CYPRESS AUTO SALES TREATED ME POORLY AND WAS VERY MISREPRESENTING OF THERE VEHICLES. PURCHASED A CAR AND ASSOCIATE""MR.T"" STATED HE HAD BEEN DRIVING THE CAR FOR 2 WEEKS AND IT WAS PERFECT. I ASKED MR.T IF THE CAR HAD BEEN IN ANY ACCIDEBTS AND HE SAID NO. WHILE DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY AT 60 MPH, THE CAR VIBRATES UNCONTROLLABLY. THE NEXT DAY TOOK THE CAR TO BE ALIGNED AND MEACHANIC STATED HE COULDNT BECAUSE THE FRONT LEFT WHEEL WAS SITTING 1 INCH FURTHER BACK THAN THE RIGHT WHICH INDICATED THE CAR HAD BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT. MR.T FROM SPRING CYPRESS AUTO HAS IGNORED MY CALLS AND EVEN YELLED AT ME THAT I PURCHASES A USED CAR NOT A 2008. THIS IS UNDERSTANDABLE BUT I DONT WANT A SALVAGED CAR. MR. T HAS MY MONEY AND I HAVE A CAR THAT HAS BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT AS WELL AS A SAFETY HAZARD. SINGLE WOMEN BEWARE BECAUSE TAKING ADVANTAGE IS THE NAME OF MR. T'S GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cons: MISREPRESENTATION OF VEHICLES, TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE, MONEY HUNGRY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS STINK more
