Awesome, close by, great in summer with little kids! 6/6/2012

It's a perfect place to take little kids, I took my 4 year old and 7 year old there two weekends ago. They have a Bob the builder play area and bob comes around in costume to meet the kids. It felt safe, clean and it wasn't too big of a park that I was scared they would get lost or be surrounded by large groups of teens (like at six flags). Plus it's a five min drive for us. And the animal show they had there was pretty cool, the kids enjoyed that. Will definately be back a few more times this summer. more

The biggest rip off ever! $64. 80 fee for 2 little kids and a grandparent who watched the kids. Entry-- after 3 pm and park closed by 7 pm. There are other places far more enjoyable and less expensive. No stars! more

not an attraction for a wide variety of ages 3/18/2006

The first time I visited it was a nicely priced day trip for the kids. They are attempting to expand it and are now charging exhorbitant prices. It is no longer an affordable alternative to Great Adventure. Even though its a bit further away, I get more value for my money. It also appears to only be geared toward a small group of children. Children quicklly outgrow what is offered there and smaller children can only go in the waiting pool so it isn't worth paying for a wave pool. more

improved alot 8/13/2005

After bringing my kids my kids to Splash Down two years ago and bringing them again earlier in the summer, I have noticed allot of improvements. They still pretty much have the same rides but they added some more. My kids' favorite ride there now is one of the new rides. It is the one where you go down a funnel like slide and you go up and down. They went on it at least four times! The park also seemed cleaner but after a few hours my kids had enough and wanted to go home. Event enough there are more rides, there still isn't that much to do. It is also very expensive. Going twice to Splash down is almost the same price as getting a season pass to Six Flags! more

New and Improved 8/12/2005

Splash Down was a good small waterpark. They had 3 main attraction water slides. Nothing here was too thrilling though. Now they just added some new things including this halfpipe. It's really fun. The only problem I have here is that sometimes it gets crowded because they bus people from the city all the way to here! Some things such as food are expensive but most waterparks are overpriced anyways. Great place to go to on a hot summer day! more

Water Park 8/11/2005

Splash Down was a favorite birthday and summer outing when I was younger. It is easy to get to located on Route 9 only 20 mins away from Newburgh. It has 3 great slides that we nicknamed as children: regular, turbo, and the tunnel. It also now has mini golf and bumper boats which should provide hours of fun on a hot day. more
