Dinner was very good. Huge amounts. Dessert was okay. more

Tasty! 4/3/2010

Loved their food here. Friendly servers and nice atmosphere. The price can be a bit high, but if you want a taste of Greek cuisine, you must try this restaurant. It's right across the street from Wild Wheat and a couple of doors down from Bittersweet. Pros: Food more

Excellent Calamari 10/2/2009

The meats and the fried calamari are excellent and well worth the visit. Their Greek salad is overwhelming with its' vinaigrette. I wish they would switch things up once in a while and add a bit more flavor to the side dishes. The moussaka and pastitio need some more flavor and a bit more texture. I have learned to stick to the Gyros and Calamari, skipping the salad and that way Spiros never disappoints. Pros: Best Greek for the South End Cons: Lack of creativity more

Wonderful! Best Greek Food! 10/2/2008

The food here is great! Had a wonderful time. The belly-dancer was very entertaining and the waitstaff did a great job! I highly recommend this little neighborhood gem. Pros: Service Cons: A bit crowded...it is a popular place. more

Delicious Gyros 5/15/2008

Over the past five years I've always gone to Spiros to satisfy our Gyro cravings, and boy do the Gyro Platters satisfy! Great atmosphere although the past few times the staff didnt seem all that friendly. (Otherwise I would have given a 5 star rating) more

Fantastic Dining Experience in Kent 11/29/2007

We went to Spiro's after a movie at Kent Station and had a great time. The fresh fruit in waiting area was a great touch. Our server was fun and attentive. The food was excellent. I highly recommend the open faced gyro over the wrapped. The belly dancers are a great touch and give the place an authentic feel. Next time we are at Kent Station, we will be stopping by Spiro's again for sure. Pros: Great authentic Greek food, great for kids more

Not bad at all! 4/30/2007

I've been to spiro's many times and I'm always disappointed in the service. She never writes down the order and always seems to forget stuff. The food is outstanding, but the hummus is not at all what I'm used to. It was really thin and runny, maybe that's how its supposed to be. I'm not sure. Anyways, not a bad restaurant at all, neat atmosphere, and adorable restrooms! more

Garlic heaven, meat / vegetarian, intimate setting, filling salads, fresh baklava, quiet early lunch, nice servers 7/6/2006

Everything I ever ordered had garlic and feta cheese, not enough to gag and not be able to taste the food but enough to taste the complement of garlic and to smell like garlic the rest of the day. Salads are fresh, filling, with warm pita bread and enough selection for both the meat lover and the vegetarian. There are gyros as well as steaks and all have a Greek taste to them, Tzaziki or vinaigrette sauces available. Parking is street and never impossible to find. Staff is attentive and helpful. Baklava is fresh and sweet. The place is small, intimate, great to hear your date talk, you dont have to tune out the racket from the kitchen because there isnt any. Greek music in the back round, bread-stick-crackers on tables (so no fresh bread), but there is plenty of fresh pita bread. Burgers available for the non-Greek food eaters. Warning if you take left-overs home = your car, fridge and the area near the carry out bag will smell like garlic. I went with a large group once and called ahead to reserve, not always necessary unless someone is already in the back with a large group. We had a dedicated server and were well taken care of; orders were brought promptly and accurately. What is nice about having a large group in the back of the restaurant, near the bathrooms, is that the sound was distributed well between us and the rest of the restaurant so that we heard our group conversation with no problems and even when the restaurant was pretty full we did not have to shout and had our own server/servers if large enough table. Pros: Great food selection for all, will set up special table for large groups, great service Cons: street parking more

The Best Seattle Area Greek Food 1/15/2005

I've been to 4 different Greek restaurants in the Seattle area and Spiros is the best. My husband and I always get the giro platter, which is enough food for 2 people. They have the best rice ever! Their Baklava is wonderful for dessert!!!! more

Great Find! 12/28/2002

Recommended by a friend...we really enjoyed our lunch at Spiros. We ordered the Sampler Platter...enough food for an extra person. Very tasty...though the meat was a bit dry...and the salad dressing a little too sweet. We had a nice chat with the owner...great service, very pleasant atmosphere. We would return & would recommend. Pros: Service, Taste, Good Value more
