Scouts Award Day 6/15/2009

I brought 10 scouts there as part of a Day-Long awards prize (for raffle sales). They had a great time, and were mezmerized in activity for our 3 hours there. We chose the Arcade/Go-Cart w/ lunch package (You might have lunch somewhere else!). The activities however were great. I recommend it for groups. more

Malibu Speedzone 3/21/2006

I suppose this would be an OK place to go on a birthday party or an occasion like that, or if you do not have a drivers licence. Overall the pricing here in my opinion is ridiculously high. It costs $7 for 5 minutes I believe. I would rather just drive around town in my car. At least I'd be going faster than 10-20 mph. That's a lot greater thrill. If you're hardcore just pull a TOO FAST TOO FURIOUS with your tripped out rides. I know you all have Ferarris -- haha just kidding. more

More fun for kids and... 2/5/2006

SpeedZone is a great place for kids and the young at heart! They have four different types of racing...drag racing, go karts and more. Also play miniature golf or run around their huge arcade! They do have a snack bar, so you can refeul after all the running around you do. Tuesdays and Thursdays is a great day to go....they charge $10 for unlimited miniature golf and video games...pay another $10 for unlimited racing on their turbo track. If you dont go on Tuesday or Thursday, plan on spending lots of money. Personally, this place drives me crazy, but I know my son and his friends love it and so does my husband! more

Speedzone 10/12/2005

They have a bar/restaurant, a big arcade, minature golf, and 4 different race tracks, one of which is so huge and complicated that you need a DRIVERS LICENSE to race. The other races you don't need one but you have to be over 5 feet so its not really a kids place only if they are a passenger. Mini-Golf for only $5 Races beginning at $7 and they even have a DRAG RACE which is $12 for 3 drag races.. They stay open late 11pm on weekdays and I think 1am on weekends but I'm not sure more

A very expensive arcade 8/25/2005

Basically, Speedzone is only a really expensive arcade. Inside, most of the video games are very high tech and very pricey. Outside in the back, they have go cart racing and mini golf, at higher prices than you would expect in this area. Nothing really is spectactular about this place; it just provides a good hangout spot for people who do not have their license yet. (There are lots of teens mulling around.) Located off the 60 freeway, it is free admission and free parking. However, the prices of the go carts, mini golf, and arcades make it so it's not worth the visit there. more

Racecars and Golf 8/21/2005

Speedzone is a great place to go with your friends. There are many things to do here. They have an arcade, go-kart racing and there is mini-golf. The best part about speedzone is the racing. The go-karts are really fun to drive but you have to be a certain height so if you bring children they can still play golf or games. more

Golf and Racing 8/19/2005

Speedzone is a great place to have fun. They have many activities for their customers including mini-golf and many different types of racing. For the younger customers mini-golf is the way to go and for the older driving is always fun. The many different types of driving activities they have include racing and they all use go-karts. more

Want Speed 8/18/2005

Speedzone is fun if you want something to do as a group. It reminds me of Boomers, because it offers a go cart racing and arcades. Speedzone is pricey, but then again, there aren’t many places that allow you to race your friends. It’s a fun hang-out spot, especially for the younger crowd. more

Get your race on 8/17/2005

If you're in southern california and are looking for a place to race go-karts then this is probably the place to go. located near the freeway, it has several race tracks to choose from. Prices can get pricey if you race a lot, but some nights they have a special 'all you can race' deal. They also have a large arcade, as well as food and drink facilities. more

A++, great price for lots of fun 8/14/2005

they have promotions almost everyday. for as little as ten bucks you can have a full day of fun. when i went, for ten bucks, i got full access to the arcades and the golf zone which kept me occupied for about 5 hours or so. The golf zone is so so compared to other mini golf attractions. However the unlimited arcades was excellent. They had a wide array of games from initial d to ddr-all for free! more

Excitement 7/20/2005

Malibu Speed Zone is a place that is very exclusive because there is not that many at all around United States. The only one in California is in our City of Industry. This Speed Zone has been famous to many movies in which features go-karts. The pricing is fair but slightly expensive and provides a variety of tracks. They also provide golfing for family fun. more
