When it comes to this hospital, many locals have a running joke, which is unless we are about to die in a second take me to any other hospital but Southside. They are the slowest, most mismanaged, behind the time hospital that I have ever been to. You can go to the hospital when there is no one in the waiting room and no ambulances arriving and you still will sit for 3 hours. No one is where they are supposed to be. The rooms have not been updated and neither has the furniture. The brightest spot with this hospital is some of the nurses are so wonderful, friendly and helpful. Of course there are those who need to take a chill pill.
