Bring lots of money... 10/28/2008

A few years ago my cat was having symptoms of a urinary tract infection. I took him to the vet right away. Instead prescribing antibiotics and waiting too see if the meds worked or even obtaining a simple urine culture, they automatically wanted to perform other expensive tests on him. I was young and naive so I ended up paying hundreds of dollars for x-rays and ultrasounds which were all negative. I ended up leaving with the antibiotics and the problem cleared up. I felt like a sucker! Don't go there more

Good Vet 8/8/2005

We used Dr. Treybig for a couple of years for the care of our dog. She is very conveniently located and offered good care for our dog, including checkups and spaying of our new dog. We always felt that she cared for our dog and would recommend her. She is a good vet. more

  • Dr. Jan Treybig is a graduate of Texas A&M University (B.S. Bio-Medical Science, B.S. Veterinary Science, D.V.M. Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine), holds certificates in Veterinary Acupuncture and practices Orthopedic Manipulation. Dr. Treybig began her veterinary career in 1979, has worked in the Arlington area since 1985, and opened the South Cooper Animal Hospital in 1994, where she enjoys being a veterinarian in both dogs and cats.Born and raised in Houston, Dr. Treybigs love for animals began at an early age when a veterinarian visited her parents acreage to care for a horse. After watching the veterinarian care for the animal, she thought, thats what I want to do! Dr. Treybig now dedicates her practice to compassionately caring for pets with client education in mind. Dr. Treybig, along with Dr. Kelly Wiggins and the staff at South Cooper Animal Hospital, all enjoy making clients and their pets a priority.In her spare time, Dr. Treybig loves to travel, take photographs, is an outdoor enthusiast, and loves making pesto fresh from her garden.
