I took my premature baby to the E. Houston location and the 1st visit was ok. Then it came time for my daughter to see one of her 5 specialists and the doctor refused to give me a referral that was necessary for insurance purposes. She insisted that my daughter was fine. She argued with me and hung up (how professional) and on my next visit she made me wait an hour in the waiting room and another hour and a half in the back just to send a nurse in to see my sick and fussy baby. I would not recommend Dr. Cortez or any other doctor in that rude and unprofessional practice.
