This is the WORST property management company I have ever used and I have had the misfortune of renting from them twice.
The first time was in South Park and I only had to deal with their incredible lack of staffing and terrible customer service.
My most recent apartment on 4th Avenue got bed bugs after seven months and SOS was completely unprofessional about the situation. I think they only have one property manager and she was NEVER available to take your calls. I would estimate that 99% of the time I was told the property manager was on the other line or away from her desk. This was an incredibly stressful and time consuming situation and SOS was not there to help me at all.
The worst part is that the people who lived below me told me the previous tenant had moved out because of bed bugs too! When I initially told the on-property manager about the bugs she lied and said she had never heard of a problem like this in the building. Days later, I received an email from the never-present off-site manager admitting there HAD been bugs in my unit before.
This company cost me over $1,000 in furnishings because they failed to properly take care of the bugs the first time. I moved out halfway through August and they would not reimburse me for the remainder of the month. Before August was over, they had already rented the unit to another poor and unsuspecting soul.
