I went with a group of girl friends to Sofia's after work last night, and we all loved it. First and foremost, the wine selection was great: we tried several, and all were tasty and reasonably priced (many glasses around $9-10 and many bottles from around the world between $35-$40). Second, the menu is small, but has something for everyone (soups, pasta, cheese plates, and pizzas) and since us four girls shared all three pizza options, I can honestly say that they are all phenomenal! But most importantly, the staff were all wonderful, from the handsome and charming father-son team of owners, to the attentive and knowledgeable waiters. This place is a great find, perfect for dinner with the girls or a low-key date-night. (Just a quick note: two of the girls almost walked by the place, assuming it was an apartment. But though the sign on the awning is hard to see, this place is definitely worth looking for!)
Pros: Best wine selection ever, great food, wonderful service.
Cons: While everything on the menu is phenomenal, there aren't many choices there, though they have only been open for a short while, so perhaps that will change?
