Snoopy's Dog House

To Anon -- I have used Snoopy's for Years and Years. This is a wonderful facility.The Big Lady up front has always been very kind and professional with us and our pets. And the grooming prefect every time. I also boarded my pets there on many occasions. I have never seen all the pets running loose outside, they are always on a leash being walked by the staff. There's no fence and there's no ditches. There's a 12 ft drop culvert behind them. if the dogs were in there it would hurt them. I know this because I walk my dogs back there every time I pick them up from grooming. There is no way Snoopy's would turn all the dogs loose. That's crazy. I came to city search to give a atta boy to Snoopy's, and was shocked to see your false and way out of review on such a great place. If they did these claims they would not be in business for 20 plus. I highly recommend Snoopy's Dog House more

Not a good 1st impression AT ALL! The (no offense) big woman at the front desk was pretty rude & short with me. When I tried to explain what cut I wanted for my dog she kept interrupting & trying to assume what I was going to say & say it over me. I've been to another groomer once before (too far out now for me to go to because I moved) and it only took MAYBE 3 hours, if that. I called after 2 1/2 hrs of my dog being there asking if he was ready & why it was taking so long and they told me that there was a 4-6 roll over period. They did NOT inform me of this before I dropped him off. I guess they could tell I was aggravated over the phone because when I hung up I told my husband to pick our dog up. My friend I was with at the moment told me that they have had many problems with this company and one time when they went to pick up their dogs, the people had left the back door of the facility open & nearly all the dogs were running loose outside which is VERY unsafe considering 1) they could run out into the street 2) most of the dogs were down in the ditch & 3) what if all the different dogs got into a fight? By the time my husband got there they had gotten on the ball with shaving my dog (I guess they really wanted that money) and clipping his nails. They did a wonderful job with his cut, but I will never go there again because I don't care how cheap they are, I am not risking my dog being in contact/a fight with other dogs & the way I was treated by the lady at the front desk, makes me wonder how she treated my dog. more

I'm new to the area, just moved here from Fort Smith in June. I have takin Puddin, my baby, to two other grooming shops before snoopy's and was discusted by there shortness w/ me and did the hair cuts they wanted and not what I asked. One fancy shop in Keller said ""this is the way it's supposed to look"". I really don't care what they look like in the shows woman! I want it short n sweet and pretty bows and manicured toes! The lovely hefty lady upfront was all smiles and baby talked Puddin'. I've never seen Puddin' lick a stranger in the face and that told me this place is good in my book so far! She knew exactly the cut I wanted, when I picked her up, she was so happy and her pretty pretty bows w/ little christmas bells and red polish with silver tips and rhinestones...I think i'm gonna get mine to match! Then I paid $5 to get a pic done of her that came out so adorable! Can't wait to go back! Sure Puddin' would love it to! I've never seen her come home so happy...she was at the spa...not the kennel! Took dog in for flee dip & bath, Picked up hours later, in the car I picked 4 flees off and noticed she had her usual dandruf if she's not bathed in 2 or more weeks. I went back to place, she said they got flees off, but when they walk her, she got them back?!! OOOOK. I bath her when got home, she was filthy! Water full or dirt and hair and about 30 flee come off with flee shampoo. I paid $28, and they did absolutely nothing and did not offer to fix my complaint when I went back, said ""not thier fault"" Never going back here. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Excellent service. They love animals and it shows. Their own happy pets wander around greeting customers. They have groomed my pets (dogs and cats) for years and I've always been extremely pleased with the end result. Recently I took in two cats, with horribly knotted fur, so neglected, I was almost ashamed to admit ownership. My cats were not only groomed beautifully, but were happy when I picked them up. Cats are extremely hard to shave and it takes three people to hold them. There wasn't a single nick on either of them, which I think is pretty amazing. \r \r I've heard some real horror stories from frineds about grooming problems they've encountered elsewhere. They are wonderful and the dogs always look great! I have never picked the dogs up and have them rattled or sedated from being groomed. I have scotties and that is a hard breed to groom and a detailed cut. They always do a great job. more
