I searched high and low for a DOC that I liked and trusted and honestly had a really hard time finding the right person. I met w/ 3 other coordinators and didn?t click w/ any of them or just found them to be ridiculous. One actually told me that she wouldn?t help me before the wedding (like wasn?t willing to answer wedding related questions) since I was only looking for day of. Awful. Anyway, all of this changed when I met Kara the owner of Magnificent Milestones. I liked her so much that after our lunch meeting, I returned to work and emailed her that I wanted to book her and I never looked back. Kara really was much more than just a DOC though, since she helped with things all throughout the planning process. Anytime I needed an opinion or suggestion, Kara was there to help me. Also, her store is beyond adorable with anything you could ever need wedding-wise. I ordered my invitations and programs through Kara and they turned out beautifully. She was a godsend during the week and day of as well. A few days before the wedding, I dropped off all the things that were piling up in our condo (programs, napkins, bathroom baskets, etc.) @ MM and that was the last I had to think about them. And on our wedding day, I felt very much at ease knowing everything was taken care of. She and her assistant took care of everything from delivering breakfast to our suite to gathering our gifts and making sure they were safe. You can?t go wrong w/ Kara coordinating your wedding ? she has an unbelievable wealth of knowledge about everything in the wedding industry, has excellent taste AND is nice and super easy to work w/ to boot!
