Dr. Smith did my cataract surgery and I can see again. I had an excellent experience. All his staff were friendly and thorough and prepared me well for surgery. The surgery nurse even held my hand when I told her I was nervous. They had given me something to relax me and surgery was over so quickly and without any pain. I would definitely recommend Dr. Smith and I have to many friends who have seen him also and all say they love him. \r I believe that lens the upset lady was talking about was the Restor lens which is not covered by insurance and I was offered as an option so I wouldn't have to wear glasses. I decided to buy it and I'm glad I did. It was 1/2 that much for each eye. I was given the brochure also which was very helpful in explaining this lens. It said I might have halos around lights at night which I did notice for a few weeks at the beginning but seem to have gone away. I told myself - ""Who needs to look directly into oncoming headlights anyway?"".\r All in all a great experience. I would never go to another eye doctor.\r I also had my brother-in-law see him when he started getting flashing in his eye and poor vision like a curtain coming down over his eye and Dr. Smith immediately diagnosed a torn retina which he was able to stop with a laser procedure right away in his office.\r And, he also diagnosed my nephew with diabetes just by looking into his eyes. Thank God for Dr. Smith catching that early. more

I had my first visit with Dr Smith yesterday. It was great to walk into an office that has smiling faces. The young lady at the front desk actual new some patients by name. They took me in the back to get started, the part I liked the best was when they told me what they were doing before they did it. I was able to get a new prescription for glasses and contacts in one visit. It was great not to have to run around to get my glasses and contacts else where. Dr Smith took his time going over with me all my options. He even walked me to the optical department and let the young lady know I was new with bi-focals. She was very kind and as they say she held my hand the whole way through. As I checked out with the ladies at the desk they set me up for my appointment for next year. I would like to THANK this Doctor and his Staff for being so kind. more

Dr. Smith has been my ophthalmologist for over 3 years, and I have never walked out of his office without a smile on my face. His office staff is extremely helpful, kind, and very knowledgeable. The office is a very warm, almost family like setting. Dr. Smith is the BEST of the BEST! I have never felt like my appointments with him are rushed. Anything concerning my eyes he explains thoroughly, even DRAWS PICTURES FOR ME, so I can not only hear what he's saying in laymans terms but I also get a visual! I give Dr. Smith and his staff a BIG thumbs up!! more

My wife had her eyes operated on by Dr. Smith a year ago and we couldn't be happier with the result. I have no idea what the spoiled brat in the previous review was thinking about, but this is a terrific surgeon and very nice humble person. I trust him with my wife. more

Arrogant Pushy he said I was a good candidate for a new type of cataract lens and it would only cost me 5000.00. The rude woman at the check out desk was not happy that I asked questions about the cost and why insurance did not cover it. I point out in the broucher that Dr. Smith gave me it said part of the cost was covered by insurance she just took the broucher way from me. While I was there everyone was a good candidate for this lens. Im going To get a second opinion. Avoid this office. This DR. SMITH ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY. Pros: Beautiful office it must have cost his patients a lot Cons: Dr. Smith only TOLD ME I needed this more
