kindness, professionalism, good humor, 9/21/2010

I remember 34+ years ago sitting in your dental chair. Driving to my appointment my mother assured me ""you like going to Dr. Brains office) to calm my nerves, and when I arrived your staff always rememebered my name. (I know how important charts are.) After I was ushered back by your smiling nurse, you always made me feel like a rockstar. You may not know it, but your kindness, professionalism, good humor, good mood and courteous manner taught me a great deal about customer service and friendship. Hopefully I can make each person I come in contact with, even if for just a moment, feel like they are the most important person in the world. You made me feel like that. Thank you. more

Dr. Brain is a gift to all of us with disabled kids. 8/30/2010

Most dentist will not or cannot handle children or adults with autism or other behavioral disabilities. Dr. Brain, on the other hand, has dedicated his practice to helping disabled kids. more

If we lost Dr. Brain, children's dental care in Tacoma will suffer dramatically. I hope that one day people will retract the harmful reviews that have been unnecessarily generated. more

I have been taking my children (several who are disabled) 8/25/2010

I believe that Dr. George Brain has been grossly misrepresented. I have been taking my children (several who are disabled) to Dr. Brain for over 15 years. Some my children are autistic with server behavior issues. Dr. Brain is professional in every regard. I font believe he is capable of hurting a child. In fact, he is gentle to a fault and children are rarely traumatized by a visit to this caring dentist. more

I believe he is an outstanding credit to his profession 8/19/2010

Some adults arent as lucky as my son. They carry phobias/fears of dentists to the point where their dental health is neglected for years. Dr. Brain deserves 100% credit for my sons beautiful smile! The reassurance Dr. Brain provided me cant be measured. I believe he is an outstanding credit to his profession. more

I never felt any anxiety when it was time 8/16/2010

Dr. Brain continued to reinforce positive experiences and excellent dental care for the next 12 years. Dr. Brains expertise as a childrens dentist is the sole reason my son overcame his fears and never felt any anxiety when it was time for the orthodontic work with Dr. Kochich and the continued excellent adult services received from Dr. OConnor. more

Dr. Brains expertise and excellent understanding of treating 8/11/2010

Naturally, my son needed to have regular dental appointments as part of his childhood health care. I didnt know how Id ever find a dentist who would understand my over fearful child - who now had a very negative memory of his only encounter with a dentist. more

I was amazed when he had a filling done in speedy time 7/26/2010

I personally had Dr. Brain as my dentist growing up and now have three boys who see him. Our three year old whom we adopted last year is very hard to manage, very anxious and hyperactive. I was amazed when he had a filling done in speedy time, and came out proud and smiling. I think that Dr. Brain is a very special Dentist!! more

I highly recommend him 7/22/2010

I am a 35 year old mother of two small children. I started as a patient of Dr. Brain when I was 4 or 5 and continued until I was 16. He was a fantastic dentist. I can remember being very frightened when I was new to his practice and I cried hysterically. He whispered so that I had to stop crying in order to hear him. (I trick I use today with my children... I works wonders.) I never cried in his office again.When my daughter turned 3 I noticed that one of her front teeth was gray/dull in appearance. It turns out she inherited very soft teeth from her dad and needed a lot of work done. I took her to Dr. Brain and they took good care of her too. I didn't have dental insurance, but they worked with me on a great payment plan.Dr. Brain is a wonderful, caring dentist. I highly recommend him. more

I have 2 special needs children that see Dr Brain They were afraid of dentist. They went back there and the staff was gentle with them. Dr Brain was gentle too even when they put up a little fuss. When Dr Brain was done he called me back to explain what was done to them and how well they did. My daughter is being referred to a Orthadonist because she needs braces. He even answered any questions we had about our childs treatment. They even like how the get a new tooth brush dental floss and pick out of the treasure chest. I would reccommend him to anyone. Also if you have special need children he is good with them. more

I have never seen him be rude to a child 7/19/2010

I went to Dr. Brain when I was a kid and now I take my two children to him. He has been nothing but nice to myself and family in the 30+ visits at his office. I have never seen him be rude to a child, even if they were acting up. He is very professional yet he can make my kids laugh. They love going to the dentist thanks to Dr. Brain!!!! more

I also went to Dr. Brain as child. I loved the art they had on the wall, & I always liked going there. I was never scared of goin to the dentist. A few of my middle school friends had him too & liked him just as much as me! more

I've seen with my child problem tooth 3 dentists before we went to George Brain(!).And nobody even wanted to do anything because like they said ""she's not want to help us to work with her"".She was only 3 !!Now we will go only to Mr.Brain more

They answered all my questions 7/8/2010

I read the reviews and even called my dentist to chat about Dr. Brain before I took my daughter in today. I will admit I went to the office with some anxiety, and I told the office staff about my concerns. I came away very impressed with the staff and the doctor who was very kind with my almost 3 yr old daughter. I will take my daughter back in 6 months for a cleaning and have no worries with Dr. Brain as her dentist. I didn't even have to ask to be allowed with my daughter in office while he examined her teeth. It's very open and he answered my questions regarding my daughters dental care. I would recommend him. more

Okay first of all, I was a patient of Dr. Brains for many years approx 19 years and NOT ONCE DID HE EVERY TOUCH ME OR DO ANYTHING TO HURT ME! I would recommend him to anyone and I will bring my children to him. I felt very comfortable with him as my dentist. My siblings also had him and my nephews and not once did any of them complain about him doing anything to them. He is a great dentist and he make children feel comfortable. His staff is great too they are friendly and they will answer any question you throw at them to their best ability. more
