We bought a love seat after a long search, and had it delivered to Minneapolis. The sales staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and the delivery people courteous and efficient.
Within a year, the leather had worn unacceptably. A call to corporate offices and (later) digital pictures to their web site got us a visit from a technician, who agreed the problem was with La Z-Boy, and we got a new back. The technician had to come later to install it. Under warrantee, so it didn't cost us anything but time.
A few months later, the reclining part was broken. Again, after some paperwork and photos posted on their web site and a visit from a technician, the problem was fixed at no additional cost.
A year later, we are no longer under warrantee, so I can finally comment. We currently have a love seat which looks great and works wonderfully. We got the right piece at good price, and are, at the moment, happy. I'm a little worried about future problems, but with luck this piece of furniture will last for years.
Recommendation: Keep your receipts and have a digital camera handy.
