This place is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! I held my daughters 9th birthday party at the Springdale location, and it went downhill the moment we walked in. First you are greeted by employees that are less than excited to be there. Even less excited if you ask questions. We were told we could fill out the waivers online, but when we arrived it was suddenly an inconvenience to the workers to look them up. \r \r My 2 year old nephew wasn't going to jump, but since he was there they included him in the party. Each additional person over 15 was an extra $21. I requested they remove him, and they began to go back and forth with me. I requested a manager. That wasn't much better. The manager was very confrontational, and wanted to know who had an issue. While I'm trying to explain to her the obvious mis-communication between myself and her employees she turned her head to ask my daughters father if he was him or his twin brother. Since he didn't remember her she went on to say how they went to school together, and told him her husbands name. Again ignoring my issue. Finally, she went back to working on my issue. Her helpful advice for fixing my issues were the following: Ask his parents to pay for him so he can be a part of the party, pay $10 so he can jump from 4:00 - 4:30pm (my party was 330-430), or pay $14 so he can jump the entire hour. Of course, none of these options actually had anything to do with what I was telling them. He wasn't going to jump..HE'S 2! I gave up and paid $14 for him to jump for the hour, and they took him out to jump. All of this could have been avoided if someone was listening.\r \r But wait that's not it...I asked this manager for her regional managers name and number so I can contact her. She went on to tell me that was stupid, and so was I. Several people in line heard her, and were shocked someone would be so rude to a paying customer. A $405. paying customer at that. I walked away to keep from a confrontation with such a rude person. \r \r The day went on to be ruined. They originally said the kids would be put together according to height. I said fine...there was no consistency with this rule. The kids were so upset they couldn't jump with each other, and mind you the majority of the kids were close in height. I can only guess this is what you get when the majority of your employees are young teens.\r \r Once we went to the party room we had one hostess who only passed out 2 pizzas. We paid for 3 pizzas. Then to top it off they tried to push two carts in our small party room for the next party 10 minutes before our party was even over. The carts were still sitting outside our room. They were so close to the door one of the other parents had to move it so we could get our cart out.\r \r The worst experience of my life. I asked several employees for the managers name and they said they couldn't give it out. Imagine that. The horror story continues....\r \r The day after the party I called the Columbus location because this is a franchise. I spoke with Elizabeth the district manager. She said she would look into it, and call me back. When she called me back she was pleasant in the sound of her voice, but she basically called me a liar. No flat out, but she said the manager had a different story. Well of course she did. She was rude, and any other place would fire someone for that behavior. She went on to tell me they watched the video tape. She would only offer 10% of my money back. I declined because this is about principle. I've requested a call from the owner. I originally asked for 1/2 of it back, but at this point I should get a full refund. No one will give you any manager or owner information. They make it so hard to talk to someone. It's a shame people no longer care about customer service. It really does make or break a business. more
