This is definitely not your usual facial. This is an experience. The whole procedure is unique, feels great, and results in super clean, exfoliated, and hydrated skin. I will certainly return for more of the same. more

Extremely high staff turnover 4/6/2012

I have been a Bellevue Calidora customer for 2 years and at first it was great, but it has gone downhill badly, as far as staff to do injectables go. They have HUGE staff turnover and now I can't even get an appointment for a month out because they don't have the staff available to do Botox and Radiesse (filler) injections. I can never get the same person consistently to do my injections because they ALL quit. Something is seriously wrong with the management at the Bellevue location to drive off that many good staff members. I was a loyal customer but I will not recommend them anymore. It's too bad. I was pretty anxious about getting some non-surgical corrections, but I knew it was time. I'd been to Calidora before, several years (or two babies!) ago, and had been happy with the service, but thought it prudent to investigate some MDs in the area. After spending nearly two weeks on reading reviews, I decided to revisit Calidora since it was known to me and has steady reviews. I'm glad I did! more

after seeing so many reviews for latisse, i found out this calidora clinic offers "complimentary consultations". so i called to find out more information for this consultation, the receptionist said she could make me an appointment for the "complimentary consultation". i asked her if there were any fees/or charges associated with the appointment in which she replied "it's complimentary". Best Spa To Fix Problem Skin 10/26/2009

Ok, Started off by going to Calidora for a facial. I have really back acne problems. I have had for the last 4 years. I have tried so many other med spa's in the Seattle area. There facial was the best facial I have ever had. No joke with in the first 2 days after my first facial all my zits started to disapear! They got my on products for at home use to help me keep up my results. I have since got a IPL package & a facial package. I got in about once a month for a maintance facial! It really worked. After nothing else would. I tried proactive, murad...and a ton of other products before finding Calidora. Pros: Best Facials For Acne & More! more

Big results after just one visit - never happened before 8/20/2009

First I was really impressed with skin care analysis. It was interesting. Second they do microdermabrasion as a part of a regular facial, which is very impressive because everywhere else it costs extra and not pocket change either. They have very clean and nice environment, good estheticians and products. I saw big results after only one visit. That never happened before. more

Treatments didn't work for me 1/26/2009

I bought a 6 month facial package and a package of 6 laser treatments for acne. The spa was nice and the people were great, but it didn't clear up my acne. After 4 laser treatments, I was prescribed Retin-A micro and that really made my skin a lot worse. As I finished up the treatments, I moved away. But I was a little disappointed that after 4 months, I saw absolutely no improvement. The staff did recommend some great products that I still use, that have had a minimal improvement on my skin. Pros: Nice spa, clean, friendly & caring staff, products Cons: treatments didn't work more

Calidora = Mecca -- YOU MUST GO! 4/26/2008

I'll admit I'm a full blown product junkie and I thought that I knew my skin and what's best for it better than anyone. After going to Calidora, I will never trust my skin to anyone else again! Including myself. I first went to Calidora and saw Shawna for a peel. My skin immediately was radiant and brighter and I got a ton of compliments. Then a couple months later I had a facial with Shellie at U-Village, who not only is a serious skin expert but she's so cool that its impossible not to have a girl crush on her. The results from the facial were unbelievable, even better than I expected. My skin has never looked better. I tried to book an appointment with Shellie recently and couldn't get in and got a facial instead with Meghan, who is equally amazing and I could not be happier. I urge everyone reading this to make an appointment today, your skin will thank you. :) Pros: The absolute best in skin care expertise!! Cons: None more

The staff at Calidora are knowledgeable, approachable and very customer-service oriented. This place is a wonderful addition to the area and skin-care community. I don't disagree that they offer very high-quality, effective, cutting edge services. Great results for my acne spots! 1/14/2006

I came to Calidora Skin Clinic expecting to receive some improvement with my acne scarring and pigmentation. After a full series of Laser Genesis my acne scarring is completly gone and my pores are tighter. Skilled professionals at this clinic 12/23/2005

Immediately I felt comfortable with these people. very knowledgable staff, I felt I was in good hands. what seperates these folks from the rest is that they only have skilled licensed professionals doing the procedures. I have experienced other clinics that have performed laser treatments for my rosatio only to find they are not liscensed! Here, I can rest at ease. Finally a Solution to my acne! 10/20/2005

I have been seeing an aesthetician at the Bellevue Calidora Skin Clinic and my acne is completly healed. My first time in they analyized my skin very thoroughly and made me feel very comfortable. I started using the complimentry samples and the next week I had a deep clensing facial! After two months of treatments my skin is acne free for the first time since I was 15! Spa gives results and makes you feel good 9/26/2005

One time I visited to research the spa/treatments. Staff took time to explain/show what i wanted to know. Second time i went in for glycolic peel. Though the first step is normally a skin analysis - they didn't push it. The nurse performing the peel gave explanation every step of the way(what/why/how) and made me feel relaxed (this was my first peel) She read my skin like a book too (i'm only 33) I was impressed, eager to sign up for more appoinments and purchase products - but she advised me to hold off, instead providing samples to test first and advising I take time to see the peels reaction before making future appointments. She definitely cared about my skin and treatment - so i'm surprised another reviewer felt "pushed". My sister did a skin analysis and multiple laser resurfacing and is thrilled with her results. Dedicated to Customer experience 9/13/2005

I tryed my dermatologist office, but they asked me what I wanted chemical peel or botox, I was intrested in all of it, but wanted someone to guide me through what was right for me. I was having lunch with my girlfriend and she told me about Calidora. I made an appointment and I was so glad I did, they did a great consultation, took pictures and took readings of my skin gave me samples of skin care and exsplained why they gave me those samples. There was no sales pressure, told me what to exspect and made a skin plan for me, that fit my budget. I even got a personal consult with everyone who I would be working with. Never looked better! 9/7/2005

I first went to Calidora for my bikini hair removal (which actually did not hurt that much--because of some kind machine they have, the Zimmer??), but now I go to them for all my skin care needs . They have some fantastic treatments (I had a microderm last week) and a really friendly and smart staff. I think they are opening another clinic in university village, which I can hardly wait for since I work in Seattle. Ask for Angela--she is the microderm Queen! Knowledgable and Friendly 8/31/2005

I have really enjoyed my experience with Calidora. In my first appointment I met with one of the licensed aesthecians and had a complexion analysis using a computer photo system that really gave me detailed information about my skin that I could see in a report I got to take home. Now after a few treatments I can refer to that report and actually see the difference the treatments have been making in my skin. With every treatment that I have, I am pampered and feel that I am at a great spa, but results that I am seeing in my skin assure me that I am getting the best treatments from professional and highly trained people. Untrained and pushy staff 8/28/2005

I was unimpressed by the training and knowledge of their staff. They seemed like they barely knew what they were doing (unable to answer basic questions about the way the laser would interact with my skin type) yet they were very keen on selling me products and services than I was not interested in. Their facility, although very small, looks decent but I really got the feeling that the staff was by in large clueless.
