Skin Zen was a great find for me. I enjoyed my facial SO much, I joined their monthly member club, which includes a facial and discounts on all of their organic products. Love this place. I look forward to my next facial! more

Skin Zen is a hidden little jewel. The staff are knowledgeable, it's a relaxing atmosphere and the products they use are superior. I bought their bridal package and felt radiant on my wedding day and enjoyed the relaxation leading up to it the months before! more

Horrible Painful Waxing 6/28/2011

I went in to Skin Zen for a bikini wax. While all the staff members were nice and friendly, the lady waxing me had no idea what she was doing. The wax wasn't hot enough so it didn't take off all the hair. She kept having to re-do areas she had just done (OW!) and then go back with tweezers. It was absolutely the most painful waxing I've ever had done because she was so slow to rip off the strips. And just to top it off, she was sweating profusely and it was dripping on me. I honestly thought I might be on a hidden camera show. The whole wax should have taken about 15 minutes - I was in there for 45 before I couldn't take anymore and told her to stop. I explained it was very painful and I wasn't satisfied. They still charged me full price. Do NOT get waxed here. Absolutely awful!! more

Watch the Time 5/31/2011

I purchased a Living Social or Groupon or one of those discount coupons. It was for a 70 minute massage. The place is very nice, front staff was ok but not overly nice/attentive. The back ""quiet area"" was nice and peaceful. more

Don't give them your credit card 2/4/2011

Been canceling my membership by phone and email for over three months now and they are still charging my credit card. more

Keep looking, there are much better spas out there 12/15/2010

I tried this spa once, and only once, for a bikini and underarm waxing. We'll start by saying she couldn't even remove all of the hair, in either region. This was likely not due to her skills, but the fact that the only light in the room was a tall ""desk lamp"" looking thing she pointed in the direction of where she was waxing. And the light was only on one side, so I'm sure she could barely see what she was doing as the rest of the space was dark. The reason for the lighting? Well the waxing ""area"" was at the back of the shared spa room behind a curtain. So I know everyone could hear us. There was no privacy, and you have to have your cell off because everyone having their ""spa"" experience is well within a whisper's ear shot. And I'm pretty certain that everyone could even see me because the curtain didn't quite close all the way and I was the victim with the only light in the room shining on me. They were nice, but when I think spa I do not think about trying to relax in front of a handful of other strangers. more

Tried it once, became a ""member"" 10/26/2010

I love my monthly membership! I love my ""me time""! Melissa is always my facialist, and she does everything so wonderfully - best neck rub in the world! more

Highly Recommend 3/24/2010

I have tried many other spas in town and I found this one to be one of the best. I found my facial to be the best ever. It was very affordable and yet the services delivered and products they use are very high end. Their services are so affordable that I get to pamper myself more often. Highly recommended. Pros: Affordable, Clean, Organic Products more

Exceptional and Affordable 3/2/2010

My husband and I went for Valentines Day for a couple's package. It was our first expererience with Skin Zen but won't be our last. Not only was this affordable, according to my husband who purchased the package for us, but it was truly exceptional. From the minute we walked in till the time we left, the entire staff was professional and friendly. Skin Zen Spa is highly recommended! more

Fantastic place to pamper yourself! 3/2/2010

I have been to high priced spas for facials -- this is the same quality as the expensive places but you get to go more often because the price is so much cheaper. Pros: The price is wonderful and the products are great. Cons: Wish the service lasted longer :0) more

Skin Zen 1/13/2010

I see Ashley at the spa every time I go and i couldn't be more pleased. Both the receptionist and staff members address me by name on every visit. The chairs are very comfortable and the products they carry work great on my skin. For the price alone this place is worth treating yourself to a facial but the staff make it a place i would continue to patronize and recommend to friends and family. more
