Pretty Good Small MT 4/2/2006

Skiing in the East is in no way comparable to skiing in the Rockies, but Ski Sundown is a great place to go if you're not expecting much. They have a variety of trails- none that challenging, so is an excellent place to bring a first-time skier or child. The lift lines here are usually horrendous so plan on coming early or staying late. The lodge is not that good- overpriced and severly lacking of ambiance. The lifts (two chairs) are slow and a bit boring, but in a pinch this mountain is ultimately convienient. more

A Small to moderate sized local ski destination 8/15/2005

Ski Sundown is an excellent choice for great skiing or snowboarding fun. They have 14 trails including three bunny hills and three black diamond rated trails. Rentals are reasonably priced as are boot/ski/snowboard rentals. There are four lifts, three triples and a double. Ski/snowboard lessons are also offered. Sundown has two terrain parks, Exhabition and Stinger.During the middle of the summber there are a wide vareity of jump incluing big air, a massive, expert only jump. I wholeheartedly recommend ski sundown for the casual to advanced skiier. It offers almost everything a skiier could want, at prices that scream "yes, yes, yes" more
