Silver Nails

I use to go to Lynn's Nails on olympic at her new location until I had a experience. When I went in the ladies room at Lynn's Nails I saw roaches running around. She wasn't happy when I had told her about it but instead she gave me a bitchy attititude. Her staff seems to be so afraid of her and told me not to say anything to piss her off. Hello? I am a customer not employee... On top that I heard that her brother who is also working there with her did some time in jail for murder. I don't want to be anywhere near that. It just gives me the creeps. For now I am trying different places and Silver Nails is so far so good. more

I received a gift certificate for this salon in December, 2004, for a spa pedi and mani. Up until now, I have not had a chance to use it. I called today to schedule an appointment and noticed my certificate has a six month expiration date on it. Knowing that California doesn't allow gift certificates to expire (except in some very limited cases), I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to have any trouble when I went in. Well, the employee was extremely rude and insisted I was wrong and that the shop owner does what he wants. When I asked to speak to him, she told me he was unavailable and ""in and out all the time"" so it would be hard for me to get ahold of him. Sounds like this one is going to be a really big run-around. I already dislike the place! more
