Roaches 11/3/2010

We thought the atmosphere was nice, the service was good, and the food would have rated 4 stars (it seemed a litlle more Laotian than Thai). All bets were off though when I looked up and saw a big roach crawling up the wall behind my husband's head. Ewwww! more

yummmmmm 9/1/2010

My neighborhood Thai restaurant, and absolutely the most consistently delicious I've ever had. The crispy duck is my favorite, and it is my 'treat myself' dish. The quality has not wavered in 8 years since I've been coming here. Service is great and friendly. Salads, desserts, appetizers, specials....everything is delicious. Check these guys out. more

Consistently great! 1/6/2010

Siam Cuisine has been consistent with the quality & service. We especially enjoy the dish with avocado & potato-stuffed chicken in a creamy coconut sauce. If you enjoy thai cusine, then this place is definitely worth the trip... Pros: Delicious authentic food, great service Cons: Not right next door to my house :) more

Delicious! 2/20/2009

Excellent food! Pros: awesome food, cool ambience Cons: small wine list more

Great everything!! 10/7/2007

I have travelled all over the world. I must say for an American based restaurant , the food service and restaurant as a whole was wonderful. The food was flavorful, plus the atmosphere was very soothing. The prices are reasonable. I recommend this place to everyone. I actually have from friends flying in from New York to have lunch with me there. And if you like very spicy make sure you get the native Thai. Pros: very nice romantic setting .. food.. just wonderful Cons: server wasnt very friendly more

yummiest thai in town 9/21/2007

this is the best thai in nashville. the service is very friendly and prompt, although i really like it take out. i normally order a curry and have enough for leftovers the next day. as a vegetarian i am a bit picky about tofu, but theirs is always good. i would reccomend this restaurant to anyone who likes thai. Pros: friendly service, yummy tofu more

Three different meals, three happy campers -- 9/8/2007

This was our third trip to Siam and the third time was the charm. While I've always enjoyed our dinners I think the first team might be in on Saturday night. Tonight's meal was perfect. I had the basil, peppers and onions with chicken. The vegetables were perfectly seared with the sweet carmelization you hope for. The sauce was a little sweet with a nice hot finish. The wife had mixed vegetables in a brown sauce. She asked to have her tofu fried and they gladly accommodated her. The sauce, she tells me, was perfectly balanced and the vegetables were cooked the way she likes them, crisp but not raw. The boy had the scallop special (he always orders the most expensive dish.) He said it was great and he finished everything on his plate. With two appetizers and a desert (no liquor and one soda) the bill was under $50. We'll be back. Pros: Great food and good service in a tasteful room at affordable prices Cons: It would be better if it was closer to my home. more

Not Bad 8/21/2007

I have been eating Thai food my whole life as my father was stationed in Thailand with the military for a while. I found the food to be alright. It is not the best Thai I have ever had, but it is not the worst either. I thought the service was pretty good and there was no wait ,so that was nice. I probably will not eat there again, but I would recommend it if you like Americanized Thai dishes. It is very safe for the American pallet. Pros: Good Service more

Best Pad Thai in town!!!!!! 10/29/2006

The pad thai is amazing! You can rate how spicy you want it from a 1-5. They are always very friendly and I do reccommend take out. Pros: $, customer service, great food more

Yum-luscious! 11/4/2005

I thought the food was extremely delicious and complex in flavor. The portions were a little small (no left overs), but I sound like a piggy for saying that. I guess I'm just used to slightly larger portions. They were also able to sub tofu in one of the meat-based offerings, which means it's vegetarian-friendly. The staff was very friendly and the meal was paced very well (not too rushed or too much waiting between courses). Great experience overall! Pros: Vegetarian options, Food quality, Friendly Staff Cons: Tables too close, Small restaurant, A little pricey more

Best Thai 5/26/2004

The food is very tasty and is very reasonably priced. It is the most consistently good thai food in town. They are, however, a bit hesitant to spice it up to the five star ""native thai"" level when requested. Pros: tasty, inexpensive more

Tan-Thai-Lizing 2/5/2003

I love Thai food and my husband and I can't decide whether Siam is better or The Orchid. Siam is more consistently good at any rate, and the service is great. Great wine list, too. Fairly romantic. You won't be disappointed. Pros: great food, great beer/wine list, fairly inexpensive Cons: bad location more

Delicious! 11/17/2002

So many of my colleagues recommend this restaurant - so we tried it this weekend. The menu descriptions were so tempting, we had a difficult time deciding what to order. Our dinners and appetizer were absolutely delicious and so well presented. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere warm and cozy. I like ordering tea - and getting a whole pot! The attention to detail will not disappoint. Please keep it up, Siam! This is one restaurant I plan to revisit soon. Thanks. Pros: Excellent food, Impeccable service, Cozy more
