Dr. Shelley is a wonderful dentist. I went to Powell Dental Group with a broken tooth, and had the best experience. I was given my treatment options with the cost for what I needed done before anything was done to my tooth. She fixed my tooth and even called me to see how I was doing! She is far from a "money hungry dentist." I have never seen an office or staff care so much about their patients. Would recommend to anyone looking for a dentist that takes time with her patients. more

Told dentist need amalgam fillings - she said the natural fillings were better - ALL FIVE FILLINGS have been replaced within 2 years - some of my amalgam's I have had for 30 years! She wanted to take off my gold crown and replace it - for what???? She told me that she ground down the crown and I couldn't have it - however, new dentist showed me that you can remove them. I elieve she intentionally ground into my gold crown when she filled a molar (which has since broken out) so I would replace the gold crown because it was fine until she touch the tooth next to it! She wanted my husband to get crowns - he has never needed one - she is a money hungry dentist who spends too much time talking with her daughter. She should not be allowed to practice! My teeth are a mess because of her. more

This is a money hungry Dentist, that charges $25.00 if you cancel an appoinment prior of 24 hours. I had to canel an appoinment at the last minitue do to out of my control circumstances and the receptionist state" Well how do you expect for us to pay our Staff, if we dont charge you a $25.00 fee", this is unbelievalbe and no way to tun a buisness. Be prepared to spend a fortune at this Dentist, no matter which one you select. If they are part of Powell Dental Group then I hope you have a fat Check Book! more

Shelly Shults is no longer at that address/phone number -- she started her own practice. She can be found in the phone book. As soon as she left the previous practice, I waited a few months and looked her up! I think she's the best dentist I've ever gone to. She's very personable and professional. I think she remembers specific things about me, 6 months later! She has small hands too, so that's nice! more
