Worst

First off, this place is like a special built mall just for kids between the ages of 11-14. If I want to go to a mall then I'll go to a mall. Second, the food prices are insane, b...

I like it 9/1/2011

Good: It is the most comfortable theatre in the area. It has some art films, and that is appealing also.Parking is more convenient than at some other theatres.convenient Restrooms, too. But, I usually do not go on Saturday evening.I do find it clean.. Bad: Price of food and quality are unappealing.. Other: We enjoy senior day,Wednesday and $6 Tuesdays.. more

The worst place for people who enjoy films 3/17/2010

've been a Revere resident for the past 19 years and I can honestly say that the past 5 have been the worst as far as Revere Showcase is concerned. The past few films I've seen were abruptly stopped midway through, the lights were left in the rooms and people managing the place were nowhere to be found. People's cars are constantly broken into (mainly those who leave their GPS, Cellphones, Laptops in their cars) and their security does not do anything. The cameras do not record so you can rest assured that nothing will be done to keep your cars safe. As much as I love this city, I've had enough of the showcase. I can't stand having films ruined and for that reason I will make a trip to Boston or Coolidge Corner so I can actually enjoy films the way they are meant to be shown.? This is not a place where people who enjoy films go. This is a place where teenagers/loud people go to to waste time and nothing else! You've been warned! more

Ghetto Theater, find another one 3/17/2010

If you actually watch films for the art of film, then watching them @ Revere is probably the worst experience you can put yourself through. I suggest going into the city where normal crowd goes to see film, Revere Showcase is basically a place where baby mama's bring 3-4 babies with them and don't care what they do because they're just happy to leave the house. Don't say you weren't warned. more

Find yourself a better theatre. 7/28/2009

Yes this is the alternative to the Loews Boston Common Movie Theatres. Theatre is nice and big. I went there only three times I think. One time with 2 friends of mine, I invited them. The second time was with my ex and the third time my ex and her friends. She invited me both times. They have a lot of food, drinks and snacks. The food area looks more like a food court at a mall. Thd customer service is ok. The screens are big and the seats are comfortable. The lines can be very long if the movie is huge so it will be best to leave the house early. The restrooms are clean. Parkings are free. The parking lot is huge. Many people go there because it's easy to get there and the parkings are free. The only problem for me is the stupid and loud teenagers. They are white black but the majority is hispanic because well you are in an area full of hispanics. White teenagers but mostly black and hispanic mothers come with their huge strollers and their babies are loud and cry. Good luck watching the movie. Truereview here to tell you truth. more

Movies 2/12/2006

All though i find this place a little expensive. They improved that place big time. Its now like a movies theater you see in the movies. It looks similar to a mini mall. Instead of stores there is movies. The lines are usually fairly short and if they are long the movie theatre provides you with Automated machines. If those should happen to be to long you can purchase tickets online. So with three options to buy tickets excellent movie theatres promise of a refund should a movie mess up i think this is a great place to go to view a movie very comfortable as well. more

Best place to see a movie without going into town 10/13/2005

This theatre complex is absolutely massive, with over a dozen stadium-seated showing rooms. Prices are the same as anywhere else: $6 for children and seniors, $10 for adults. If you don't feel like waiting in line, you can buy tickets at the automated machine with a credit/debit card and go right to your movie. The selection of food is pretty wide for a movie theatre, and is priced at the movie theatre level - so if you want popcorn and a soda its going to cost you atleast $6. Hotdogs, ice cream, pizza etc are available in a food court fashion. For the actual movie, the screens are huge, sound is great, and the theatre and bathrooms are very clean. All free parking too! more

revere movie theatre 9/17/2005

this theater is very spacious and can hold a huge audience. the variety of food is big as well, as are the crowds on Friday and Saturdays nights. the parking is wonderful, the parking lot is a good size. I'm not sure about the prices of admission, seeing as how i was on a date, but i doubt it was anything above $10 for each adult. but their selection of movies is great. i love it there. more

Spacious and clean 8/5/2005

This place is really huge and clean. They had like 10-15 theathers. The next best thing is easy to find a parking, and you do not have to pay for parking. They also have a big selection of food/drinks. But as you know they are quite expensive (same as other foodcourt at cinema) more
