I ordered 4 CR123A batteries from ?Shootersonline? Ebay Store on December 22, 2011. I really needed these for customer orders I was fulfilling. I called one of their online reps, informed him what I was doing, and he stated there would be no problem getting the order out that Thursday the 22nd afternoon, via USPS first class mail.\r \r I ordered the batteries, stated in my order what I was told about prompt shipping, and paid instantly. Although it was Thursday, just two days before Christmas, and I?m located just 55 miles west of Jacksonville, I figured I might have the order by Friday, or surely by Saturday?in time for Christmas.\r \r The USPS system ?showed? a number, but no actual receipt or movement within the system. Nothing showed up in time for Christmas. I sent ?Shootersonline? a message within the Ebay messaging system, and received a reply stating they had no control of the USPS postal system. Based on that, I figured Shooters probably did the paperwork more

Terrible Customer Service! One-Half Star out of Five! 1/9/2012

I ordered 4 CR123A batteries from ?Shootersonline? Ebay Store on December 22, 2011. I really needed these for customer orders I was fulfilling. I sent ?Shootersonline? a message within the Ebay messaging system, and received a reply stating they had no control of the USPS postal system. Based on that, I figured Shooters probably did the paperwork for the order, and may or may not have placed the order physically with the post office. I emailed back that I would patiently wait for receipt, although my Christmas orders went by the wayside, because of this mess. I waited all the way until SATURDAY the 31st, and still had not received this order. The USPS system either showed no movement, or sometimes showed that the order was ?initiated? on December 24th. Although I was told by Shooters that it got shipped on the 22nd??!! I called Shooters Saturday the 31st, after my mail had run, with no shipment still. I was told their Ebay people were not in that day, so I would have to wait until Monday the 2nd, which was the ?legal? holiday for the post office. They did say an Ebay sales rep would be in on Monday January the 2nd. In fact, one of the reps actually called me back a little later Saturday afternoon (score one point for that?) and told me he would get to the bottom of the situation, and call me back by noon, Monday the 2nd. Well, I actually received an early morning email message on Monday, with the following info: ?This is J___ from Shooters Online, we spoke on the telephone last Saturday. I gave you my word I would find a resolution by noon today and I want to make good on that promise. I have pick/packed/shipped four replacement batteries to cover the miss with the USPS. I apologize for the trouble this has caused and am doing everything in my power to make this right. I will also be filing a claim with the USPS since they lost this package. Since the USPS is not picking up today, you will not see movement on the USPS website today. I have the package waiting by the front door of the warehouse with the other packages going out tomorrow afternoon (our postman usually picks up at 14:30 hrs). Here is the postal tracking number: 4203***********************6494 Again, please accept my sincerest apologies for the trouble this has caused you. I understand your frustration, but hope that you might consider doing business with us again in the future. -J___ -shootersonline? REALLY? With all the above solutions, one would assume that the post office would receive the ?re-shipment? on January 3rd, and I would receive the order by the 4th, or ?surely? by the 5th. There is the tracking showing up in the system, not on the 3rd, as promised, but on the 4th. However, it, again, does not indicate receipt or any movement within the system! Today is JANUARY 5, 2012, A FULL 14 DAYS AFTER MY ORDER AND PROMISE OF SHIPMENT ON DECEMBER 22, 2011! Now, does anyone see why I?m not happy with this company? Therefore, I am rating Shooters ONE STAR, and would rate less than that if the system allowed it. more

This place is worst than Wal Mart! 11/1/2011

I purchased a product from this place and wasnt working the way it was suppose to. I then went to the store with in a week of purchasing the product and with the receipt. As usual i had to sit around and wait for someone to help me. After 30 minutes of sitting around someone finally helped me and told me i had to go talk to the manufacturer to get the product fixed after purchasing the product less than a week! with the receipt. WOOULD NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN! more

RIP OFF PLACE 5/15/2011

I am very unhappy I ordered a Wilson combat 1911 (the total price was over $3000) in Jan on a sat.with the crimson tracer option $250. next day (Sun) called said I changed my mind I wanted the standard grips They said no problem we will settle up when the gun comes in I saidNo problem I need to buy others things Today i drove 2 hours to pick up the gun The tell me they are only giving me 150 store credit I explained that they gave me a discount on the gun and they charged full price for options The man was nice he said he called the owner and they said they discount the gun so NOW THEY ARE DISCOUNTING THE PRICE on tracer now from 250 to 150 store credit They are not someone I will ever do business and I would advise everyone to stay away from this store When i check out the person said he was sorry (In other words I know you got rip off for $100.) Horrible Customer Service 2/18/2011

Ive been to Gun Gallers, Shooters, Wild Bills, A1, and beyond. I have never in my 27 years experienced the kind of pig headed salespeople that Shooters employs. I was going to buy a 1000 dollar gun from these guys, had the money, planned on getting it, and could not get these a$$holes to help me out. They ignored me when I talked to them and they werent even helping anyone else, they were talking to eachother. These guys will never get my buisness or anyones I know of. If your after cheap, than shop here, but dont expect to be treated like you are anything other than a number. Gun Gallery is way better and more knowledgable, and even though they are more expensive I happily support their small, nice, polite shop over Shooters. more

Simply low price's.But check out GG they will come very close in price offer a month on the range and spend alot lot more time with you and your new beauty.So in the end i will pay an extra 30 or 40 dollars on a $800.00 weapon and be happy with my purchase.Shooters is a wholesale store and simply offers them at a small mark up so you can haggle them down. more

Great Experience 8/16/2010

I found Shooters via a Google search. Looked at their website and found one of the two pistols I was searching for. Then called the store and was told they had the 2nd one also, but would not give a price over the phone. Emailed website, about call, and was told ""They will get you the best price in the country on whatever you want when you visit the store"". Called store again and was told they would honor any 'best price' I found on the internet, but that I would need to bring-in the ad. Printed some, then drove the 2 hours to the store. Rob waited on me, found the pistols I wanted and then I waited on him to 'obtain' the 'best-price' based on what I said I had found on the internet. They came back with both prices within $5.00 ea of what I had found and I never needed to show any of the printed proof. That was close enough for me. No hassle at all, though I will admit that Rob kept going off to do other things part of the time. No big deal. I wanted to brouse the store anyway. Other staff kept trying to help along the way. Maybe next time will not be as good, but this time was exceptional, and I left with one of the 'New for 2010' Kimber Super Carry Pros' and the 'New for 2010' Springfield XDm bi-tone .45 acps'. Usually, you can't get 20% off of the 'latest-greatest'...anywhere !!! I'll continue to go back, until/unless they do me wrong. BTW, they have the largest selection of Kimber and Swarovski I have seen in any one store. more

Bad Customer 10/12/2009

I just wanted to add to the other reviewer statements, that I second them on Shooters having really bad customer service issues. But when it comes down to prices they are the best. They just need get rid of some of those idiots. Other local Guns stores really need to start looking at there prices, because customers are really shopping around these days for the best prices during this recession period. I have been to almost all local guns stores including guns shows in Jacksonville and the prices do not compare to being lower or even equal to Shooter prices. And you will not believe how much 30-60 dollars price difference can make when making a purchasing decision. Shooter is selling like crazy and it a reason why there they are expanding. Shooters will be the death of a lot of local gun shops. Oh yeah, and it want be long before they have a shooting range too; if they don't already. I really wanting to avoid ever shopping at Shooters, but I could not find lower or even comparable prices. For me, I guess cheap prices will always out weigh customer service if you ask me; I can afford bad customer service. more

GREAT STORES SUPER NICE HELPFUL PEOPLE WITH GREAT PRICES 1/16/2009

We are in this store almost weekly getting new items for our collection, have added 7 in the past 6 months.. prices are always GREAT!! Now I am shocked that people would actually say they are rude.. everytime I walk in the door I am greeted by hellos using our names and asking if we took out whatever gun we got last and how it was or how was the new add on. Now yea at times they are super busy and I understand that so if I really need advice that will take time then I come back during the week at night. Pros: Great prices and super nice helpful people!! best selection probably in north Florida.......pricing is generally as good as you can do on the internet.......willl agree with another posting here about the service .....be prepared to wait..I approached an employee who was tagging new merchandise and was asked to wait until he finished.......I was hot to buy a particular handgun and was met with a real lack of interest.....friend of mine who has purchased five guns in the last year from them was asked when looking at another new handgun, ""well, do you just want to look at it or do you want to buy it""......he left the store......I have purchased three guns from them but was NEVER met with a smile or positive attitude.....they all seem a little depressed....maybe they have a hard boss.....just something about the atmosphere that does not match the quality of the store and merchandise............. First off let me start with the good, huge selection. Now the bad.... The employees are not very approachable, and it never seems to be enough employees to accommodate the customers. If you are cramped for time and need some supplies you may want to go somewhere else. There is not such thins as a rush in this place. more
